Fantastic break with the family including a 19yr old and 16 yr old. Outdoor pool was good fun on the sunny days as was the tennis court. |Good food at the on site restaurant. Lots to do out and about too. Close to the new forest. And our lodge was gorgeous lovely and clean and very close to the beach.

From the moment we booked to the time we left, this was a great experience. Caravan was very homely and well equipped in a great setting within the park. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the robot in the restaurant (our children couldn't believe their eyes!), and the entertainment we saw for the children was spot on. As a family, we loved the bingo beats in the evening, and that was a really fond memory made. The country park was immaculately kept with no litter, a genuinely great weekend away in June, and one we will be repeating again!

We stayed in a standard caravan and was very clean and tidy, utensils needed available and comfortable beds (which makes a nice change as a caravan stay) with enough pillows available. A lovely caravan park. We went out of season so not much on for the teenagers, but there are things to do near by and an adventure walk if you enjoy the outdoors. Entertainment side, area is quiet small with respect of how big the park is, and the restaurant is just a standard restaurant. I found it was quick expensive depending on your choice of food, but the staff are all absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. Swimming was nice, no slides just a pool.|Overall I would stay again if I had things to do outside the park was a clean and friendly stay

We used to stay here in the 90's, The change is amazing, so many things to do, for adults and children. We stayed in a private caravan. They have a special restaurant area, at the club for you and your dog, with a doggy menu.
The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable and stress free. I thoroughly recommend this place, you will enjoy every minute.

On the last day of my week long, first trip here. And it’s been a really great break for lots of reasons.|I was long overdue some time off work, and to just be able to have some space.|It’s done that beautifully.|I had the most basic caravan, no frills required, and it was absolutely just what I needed. Spotlessly clean, and everything I needed for my dog and I.|The site is very quiet and classy, all the staff are very friendly and the grounds are immaculate.|Ate in the dog friendly part of the restaurant several times, the dog menu is a lovely touch, all fresh food.||It is half a mile to walk over to the beach. It’s in a great location for all the big attractions.||On the Sunday afternoon, I had a problem with the TV when we came back in for the day, and I thought, realistically this won’t get fixed today. I went up to reception, and the lady was very helpful. Literally within 10 minutes, the warden was there, and fixed in a jiffy. Brilliant service.||I will definitely be returning in the future. Sad to go home

Arrived at the Beachcomer about 7pm after reading on the caravan tv that there was no need to book. Restaurant didn’t look full but we were encouraged to sit in the sports bar instead as she hadn’t had time to clear the tables. Another family were told to do the same. Told there would be a delay on the food as well. We found the tables in there were also uncleared and sticky. There were coffee cups discarded on a few tables. Staff did walk through but never cleared them. The menus weren’t clean either. We ordered food at the bar as advised and then waited nearly an hour for it to arrive. When it did arrive we were disappointed in the quality of it compared to last year when we stayed. Katsu curry was a sliced southern fried chicken piece covered in a watery curry sauce with a mound of plain rice. Lasagne was very small and microwaved to a crisp. Food was overpriced for what we were served. We won’t be eating in there again this week.

Positives are nicely decorated caravans, we are disabled and had steps to go into caravan so not very accommodating in terms of that. Entertainment music unnecessarily loud however fun. Location good to get to lots of different places. Park warden was lovely and accommodating when we had no heating and hot water and plumber sent early morning was lovely too. Had a nice experience overall.

We rent our lodge privately so no issues with that. Our issue was paying £100 for t day pass for the leisure centre. The website and signage outside clearly states it closes at 17.45, we arrived at 17.00 for a swim and were told it closed at 16.45. We only managed 2 swim sessions due to massive queues to get in. Apparently they only had 1 lifeguard on duty so they let in 10 people every 10mins. They queue in May half term was huge. The changing rooms were not very clean. The staff seem to love having power over people waiting and were not helpful when I said the sign and website times are wrong! ||We feel totally ripped off and let down on this stay. We will never buy the pass again and we are frequent visitors. You are better off using the local pools nearby and will not have very disappointed children.
