From start to finish our stay was very lovely!|Steve and Lorraine were warm and welcoming, their house has a very peaceful atmosphere in beautiful little Millbrook.|The beds are extremely comfortable and heated flooring in the bathroom was luxury. I would recommend staying here for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy a scrummy breakfast. The oven roasted tomatoes are the best! The area and the surrounding coastline are little gems of beauty.|Thank you xx

We booked Millpool at very short notice, we took the whole B&B needing 3 rooms, each of the double rooms were spacious, well decorated, spotlessly clean and the beds and bed linen were really comfortable and high quality. Steve and Lorraine are lovely hosts. There is only one shared bathroom which we wouldn't normally go for but the bathroom was large and beautifully done so it was actually no problem with us all sharing - huge room! Breakfast was nice, location is good and we really had a great couple of nights.

An amazing place to stay. Very beautiful. The bath is over the top 😊 i came with my family and we have 3 different rooms, all had different colour pattern and that was really cool. Breakfast was amazing. Thank You Steve an Lorraine you made our stay really comfortably. Thank you for thinking more about our stay then us did ( getting cot for our baby, making reservation for a dinner, preparing really delicious breakfast, organising car park).

We had a 2 night stay for a wedding, on arrival we had coffee on the terrace with Steve and Lorraine the owners, what a great welcome! Steve helped me with the bags and kitchen sink up to room. The rooms are typically Cornish and full of character with painted stone work and oak beams, some of which are old ship masts apparently. The whole B and B is beautifully decorated and furnished, creating a comfortable and cosy ambiance. The breakfast is great with plenty of choice more than you can eat, but make sure you save some room for Lorraine's roasted tomatoes as these are divine.

I really enjoyed my stay at Millpool House. The location is great, the rooms and house are beautiful and peaceful and the hospitality is second to none. Steve and Lorraine were perfect hosts and couldn't do enough to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. I was made to feel completely at home it was a pleasure to stay here.

We found Millpool House very last minute as they have just opened, and so had no idea what to expect.. all we can say is wow wow wow and thank you thank you thank you (thats from all 5 of us)!

Arriving with all our wedding leftovers, as well as more than usual attire for a holiday, we were welcomed and helped with everything. The space is modern but still holds so many original features and character. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and beds super comfy! The bathroom is just on a whole nother level! They have done an amazing job with their space.

The location is perfect too, close to the beaches and coastal walks.. which means dinner options can be snapped up quickly by others who flock to the area and so Lorraine & Steve had prebooked us dinner at a local in Kingsand for our arrival night - so thoughtful!!

We got loads of tips and suggestions for our stay from them and generally enjoyed catching up and sharing about our lives.. have I mentioned the breakfast?! Yum! All in our time too.. rather than a rushed or specific timed breakfast like some places..

We will 100% go back to Millpool House in the future and thank Lorraine & Steve once again for everything.. YOU guys made our stay what it was 🙂

Simply the Best!
Millpool House not only ticked all the boxes for a great place to stay, the things I liked most about this B&B were the great interior design, the hosts eye for details, the beds were big and comfortable, the breakfast was very tasty (a choice of fruit and cereal and a delicious cooked option). Classical music played in the background setting the mood for a relaxed day ahead, very friendly hosts / great hospitality. The location is perfect, 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk to the sea at Kingsand/Cawsand where you will find a choice of nice pubs for food. This is the perfect location for a day out at the Eden Project or a boat rip to Royal William Yard, Plymouth.

An idyllic and ideally located cottage which offered the perfect venue to rest and relax away from London. Our few nights at Millpool House were exactly the break my other half and I needed. Our room was beautifully laid out with a comfortable bed that we slept very well in. Breakfast in the morning was substantial and all freshly cooked, no matter what we ordered. From then on it was only left for us to decide whether we spent the day on the beach which is a beautiful 15 minute walk away. Or to go on one of the many walks available and take in the beautiful area that is Rame Head. We will definitely visit again, as there is still so much to see and do and cannot fault the venue and hosts! Highly recommend!
