Do not stay here!!!!!! The staff were entirely untrained in any systems trying to charge us extra twice for a prepaid room. We weren’t given the room we booked ans were then told no other rooms were available. None of the staff knew how to turn the sofa into a bed which you would think would be a basic skill for someone in the hotel industry. Save your money and go somewhere nice

The thing I like about Premier Inn is the consistency of experience. Premier Inn, Derry's Cross is no exception.

The location is good, as it is in the city centre and well situated for certain amenities, including the Theatre Royal, however, the locale feels a bit seedy, due to the decline of this once affluent city.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely staff member and efficiently checked in. My room was on the 4th floor, however some of the signage was a bit confusing. However, I ended up walking around until I found a staff member to direct me to my room.

The room was clean and tidy and my sleeping experience, excellent, which is what I expect from this chain.

All in all, a pleasant experience so far.

Great! Clean, quiet and spacious. The family room was great, very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, good value and fairly quiet. The location is handy too. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. The staff were friendly too. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel again recently while on a business trip, and once again it didn’t disappoint. The overall experience was excellent — the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-located for my needs. The breakfast was great, with a good variety of fresh options to start the day right.||A special mention goes to Lily at the front desk, who was exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Her friendly attitude and professionalism made a real difference and added a personal touch to the experience.||Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays — I’ll definitely be back.

Stayed on the night of 3rd June for the first time in this hotel, although have stayed in other hotels quite a few times on short breaks. What a very pleasant surprise! Covered cheap parking 10 minutes away and very friendly, good humoured reception and staff in a light, bright, clean lounge/bar. Lifts to a faultless well decorated double room with charging points for phones etc. It’s sited perfectly for the Theatre across the road and the Pavillions 10 mins away right in the middle of Plymouth. Got a great comparable price as well. Will definitely use again!

Came with my partner to the hotel and had a lovely stay. Excellent location and friendly, smiley staff. Gorgeous food. We were chatting to the chef Christina? on her break who was so welcoming and gave us lots of excellent local spots to try. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back soon x

What a lovely hotel! Had the best stay, comfortable sleep and the breakfast was outstanding. Lots of variety and fresh on arrival. Can't wait to come back. Compliments to the staff and especially the chef (Chrissie) Give them a raise. Lenny Henry would be proud.

My second visit to this fantastic hotel was as good as my first. The value and service I received is unbeatable. The staff could not be more helpful from the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful breakfasts chef for which nothing was too much trouble. Well done all and see you again soon!
