We had a wonderful stay at the Inn for a weekend getaway. Very pleasant staff, nice fresh room, a good value delicious meal and a tasty breakfast thrown in too. Only warning is that they close between 3 pm and 6 pm, which makes booking in awkward if that's the time you arrive there, which we did! Highly recommended.

Booked table for 12 on a Sunday for my mother’s 80th birthday. The bar lady and older waitress made it really clear they didn’t want us there and everything was an imposition for them. The younger girls who were waitress’s were very nice though! They did let us bring a birthday cake and they kindly lit the candles and brought that out to the table but again the older waitress made it clear she wasn’t happy about anything although we weren’t causing problems or being loud unlike the other table near us.

Food was ok but only had 1 veggie option of cauliflower cheese which had an odd taste and the cauliflower was grey.

Over all I wouldn’t recommend going here unless the older staff become more friendly and welcoming and the food improves. Sadly won’t be coming back again.

Thankyou to Maxine and staff for putting on a lovely Buffet for my Mother in laws 90th surprise birthday . All the staff were brilliant , the room was decorated lovely and we were able to put a few decorations up and balloons, it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch here, staff were really friendly and attentive. Food came quickly and was hot, excellent sized servings. Desserts were equally good. £120 for 2 course meal for 5 was very reasonable including drinks. Will be back

First time here for Sunday lunch we were a big party . A great selection to choose from so something for everyone.
Best Sunday lunch we have had the Yorkshire puddings were massive . Great food , good price and friendly staff . We will definitely be back .
