I cannot recommend the Dish team highly enough. Fantastic communication, exceptional food and impeccable service.

We had a small, intimate wedding in Gwithian. Having contacted a number of local caterers, it was very clear from the outset that Dish was the front runner. Sophie is the primary point of contact and will guide you through the process. She is kind, patient and incredibly attentive. The catering is such an important part of the wedding planning process and, from Day 1, Sophie just makes you feel that she is fully on top of everything which is incredibly comforting. She curated an amazing menu whilst navigating various requests, including nut and diary allergies and a number of pescatarians.

On the day, everything worked like clockwork. Every single one of our requests was met. Dish provided all of the crockery, cutlery and glasses and then took it away with them so we didn’t need to worry about anything. We hosted our event in a large rental property so I would recommend Dish for both small and large events. They left the kitchen in an absolutely immaculate condition too. You wouldn’t have known they’d been there.

Lastly, they’re all just thoroughly nice people and we were pleased that they could join us for a drink at the end. They knew when to give you space and when attention was needed.

And the food? Absolutely incredible. The canapés were outstanding as you can see from the photos with the scallops and chicken and red pesto tartlets stole the show. We then had mezze boards to start which were delicious. For main courses, we had sirloin and hake. Both were exceptional. It just made the day that much more special when everyone was raving about the food.

I’ve only ever written a handful of reviews but felt this was an important one to write for people looking for the right caterer. If you want to make your wedding or event really special, look no further than Dish…

Sophie, Mark and David are the dream team for weddings! From initial email communications, to our tasting, to the logistics and organisation and then the food on the day everything was absolutely perfect. I can't recommend Dish highly enough. All I can say is THANK YOU. You were a huge part of making our wedding the most incredible day and we're so so grateful. I wish I had more pictures of the food, we were all too busy enjoying it to take any!!

Dish are not just for weddings! Last weekend they provided the most delicious lunch for our 40th wedding anniversary party. Mark, David and Sophie are the perfect team, culinarily talented and completely unflappable. Our 30+ guests all complimented the food and service. Thank you guys. See you for our 50th if not before!

If you are considering using Dish for your big day stop considering and just do it. Mark, David and Sophie catered our recent wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made.

After meeting them once we were at complete ease, we knew that we were in the hands of professionals and we were completely relaxed. Sophie runs things with a clinical attention to detail.

The team used their knowledge and experience to suggest several great service ideas that made our day flow beautifully, which we would have never come up with ourselves.

The food on the day was outstanding and the feedback from our guests was amazing. To top it all off they are a lovely team and we loved having them around. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Spectacular! When we first visited with Mark & Sophie for our wedding menu tasting, we immediately felt as though we would be taken care of like family. Not only is Mark & David’s food delicious and sustainably sourced, but you can also tell their creations come from a place of love and passion. Our wedding menu was created based on a sense of who we are as a couple and adding their knowledge and expertise to create an incredible feast! We feasted for two days, having their Wood Fired Oven with pizzas on the Friday before the wedding as well (highly recommend)! Sophie’s attention to detail and organization made us feel so comfortable and we had no doubt that our wedding day would run smoothly in her capable hands. Mark, David, & Sophie – we cannot thank you enough for the memories you helped create, and for the kindness and warmth we felt from you from day one. Forever grateful, Jenn & Matt x

I only have wonderful things to say about Sophie, Mark and David. Right from the start, Sophie was so helpful and responsive - thoroughly going through the plan for the day and making sure that no detail was missed. On the day itself, the food was incredible - all of our guests commented on how amazing it was. Sophie was discreet but always on hand to provide any assistance that we needed. Attention to detail, flawless service and just perfect cooking of the very best and freshest ingredients. Cooking Hake that well for that many takes genuine skill and professionalism.
