Liked: The size of the pitch & the view across the fields.
The friendly warm welcome from Craig when we arrived.
Easy to find.

Disliked: That everything was a little bit “tired” e.g. the post holding the water tap on our pitch, was rotten and basically on the floor.
There was no available pot washing facilities.
For a pet friendly touring park there is no dedicated dog exercise field.
Not the touring parks fault, but the amount of patrons of the pub on site who parked in pitches and even across the access to the toilet/shower block was unbelievable. We were informed this was a regular occurrence. Shudder to think how inconvenient this would be to people who’ve actually paid for a pitch.

Liked: Lovely and quiet and perfect location, with Newquay just a short 10 minute drive. Pitches were very well maintained and spacious. Perfect for me and my partner with our dogs! Would recommend

Disliked: Only bad thing is there wasn’t any WiFi(at least we didn’t think there was?)

Liked: The park is perfectly situated for exploring Newquay and surrounding areas. Shower blocks were clean and spacious. The park is surrounded by lovely scenery.

Disliked: When we arrived it was really difficult to find the pitch due to very poor lighting. When we did find it there was someone parked up and connected to the electric hook up, so we ended up using the one next to it, which wasn't a problem. When returning to the pitch the next night cars were parked in the pitches and my other half had to go over to the pub and find the owner so we could park up. More lights and better signage and this would be a perfect pitch up stay.

Liked: On arrival met with friendly staff.
Lovely sized pitch with nice countryside views.
Great pub on site, 10 minute walk to a local shop.

Disliked: Small toilet/ shower block, freezing cold inside (February), tepid shower water appears that no staff working at the weekend so no cleaning takes place made daily ablutions a bit unpleasant.

Absolute sh*t tip! Avoid at all costs! On first arrival we were greeted by a less than friendly woman who gave vague instructions on where the “camp site” was. As an electrical hook up we were at the top end towards the “cottages” which resemble a 1950s council estate. We’re were effectively in the back garden of one due to the hookup being an outdoor socket on the exterior wall of one of the houses.||||We went for a walk around the site & found a area that was full of rubbish (well come to that later) and a stream of raw sewage of which further up the track we found an open man hole cover full of sewage.||||The toilets/showers are not clean and have various cobwebs and crap everywhere. The drains look blocked in the toilet/showers.||||We were the only campers up until the last night of our 4 night stay on the campsite. I wish we didn’t even come here as it’s the worst campsite I’ve been to, I reckon sleeping under an underpass in Aleppo would be more appealing.||||There was very minimal signage anywhere about drinking water, we found one tap for the whole camp site and no bins or fire extinguishers on the camp site at all.||||In the “Laundrette” there was mould on the walls, destroyed walls with cables sat in them and a general mess.||||On the last night of our stay there was a large fire break out in the “sh*t tip” dump area of the campsite of which the fire brigade were in attendance.||||The fact we payed to stay in a field with no facilities that is a blatant health risk is quite frankly disappointing. Avoid this place unless you like the risk of your tent catching fire or bathing in raw sewage!

Great views, about the only good thing. Booked 9 nights for Christmas, toilet windows screwed open for ventilation so freezing cold. Shower rooms were good size but signs to keep windows open after showering. The only heating was a towel rail under the window so freezing when you went in, although you could shut the window the room was already too cold for it to take effect. Therefore unable to say if the water was hot as the room sucked out the heat before it hit you. Shower block in serious need of TLC. Not clean! Soiled children's pants in one of the bins from when I used bin in Friday to following their cleaner in Monday and they were still there. Must say cleaner didn't hang around, we blinked and he was gone. Reported this to reception and advised we were leaving 4 nights early as certainly not the top dollar site we paid for at £47 per night. We were on pitch a further 2 hours packing up and they did not send anyone over in that time to empty the bin. Services on pitch are not in an easy place for caravans and the first pitch we were allocated would have meant waste and electric cables going through the awning had the pitch been wide enough to put the awning up! No instructions in welcome pack of anything useful so when I asked at reception where the chemical waste is we were told most people use the drain on their pitch, so you remove your grey waste pipe and empty cassette down the 4 inch pipe so unable to wash out cassette as we all do. No wifi on site at all. Our pitch fee did include paying for 2 dogs but no facilities there for them whatsoever not even a poo bin.|The site may shows 2 touring fields with hard standing one of these appears to be given over to residential pitches.|These comments were all taken to Reception on Monday when it reopened only to be told that no one has complained before, wish we had read Trip Advisor before we booked as they had.

Disliked: Improvements on site, lighting on pitches and near toilets and showers. Wifi would be advantageous

Liked: We were initially met at reception and given a friendly welcome and good directions to our pitch. The site was beautifully landscaped even in the depths of winter. Really convenient location, easily accessible so no squeezing down tiny back roads to get to it. Our pitch (18) was nicely screened with bamboo so had there been other people around it we'd have felt nice and private. There was a picnic table for the pitch with a great view over the rolling farmland but unfortunately the weather meant we didn't use it. Having water and waste on the pitch was convenient too.

Disliked: Toilet block was looking just a little tired. Sinks could have done with a shelf to put toiletries on to wash and shave. But they weren't bad by any means. Nice wet room / shower / accessible toilets on the other side.
