River Valley is a perfect central location enabling you to explore the whole of Cornwall should you desire. We had an amazing stay on this lovey quiet site which has spacious pitches and several are marked off with hedges which add privacy. The toilets are clean and showers on site looked clean though we did not use these as we used our own in our caravan. The pool was a welcome addition though it would have been nicer if it was able to open in the beautiful weather we had, but appreciate the Cornish weather is not always so hot! The other point to raise is the reasonable price of the pitches which beats many other’s prices. No reservations whatsoever in recommending this lovely site

This was our first time here, but it certainly won't be our last. We have done lots of touring and this takes top spot as our favourite UK campsite. So clean, great facilities (the swimming pool is lovely, warm, clean and quiet). The pitches are all large and well spaced apart, grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Kids loved the playarea and the zip line, which was a great size. Nice area to walk your dog. Fabulous location, right on the cycle trail, beautiful and traffic free ride to pretty village and beach. Farm shop and amazing cake a short pretty walk away. Also really, really reasonably priced. Amazing. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Thank you for a great stay

First time visiting River Valley for around 16 years and it is still as perfect as we remembered it. The whole site and all facilities were absolutely spotless. All the staff were friendly and helpful.|Our pitch was a generous size with ample space for caravan, awning and the car. The site was very peaceful and the ideal place to go for a relaxing weekend. Local walking and cycling directly from the site offers safe and easy routes to St Austell, Pentewan and Mevagissey.|It definitely won't be as long before we return again.

We stayed here as a family in the early 2000's and loved it, now the kids have gone and we're back into caravanning. We were looking at various sites around Cornwall last year and decided why not try river valley again, this was for a nine night stay last August also we've just returned from another nine night stay and are returning to river valley in September. The site is very tidy and well maintained the touring pitches are a good size some are smaller than others (we have our favorite one) the pitch we were on i had to do a little bit of leveling up but it wasn't out by much and we had more than enough room for our caravan, awning and car with enough room to be able to sit out when the sun eventually came out. There's plenty water and grey waste points dotted around but the water pressure isn't great so be patient when filling your aqua roll. The elsan point is in the main toilet block close to the pot washing station which are both spotless and modern. The men's toilets are again spotless with two WC's two shower cubicles and a family cubicle which has a shower, WC and wash basin. The showers are a push button type with a fixed head and after the initial 20 second icy blast the water is nice and hot with good pressure. I can only imagine the ladies toilet facilities are equally as good. The pool has a changing room with private changing cubicles and a WC, the pool itself is a good size and nice and warm the day I used it I had it all to myself brilliant.|I would definitely recommend this site to anyone it's ideally positioned for shopping in St.Austell or a casual stroll down the pentewan valley trail to the beach at pentewan village. |Hat's off to Alison, Paddy and their team they've got it spot on keep up the good work 👍🏻 counting down the days to our next visit.|My only gripe is that the season is too short other than that I can't fault it.|

Faultless .|Clean, tidy, friendly site. We stayed in number 10 next to the laundry/information room .|The swimming pool was lovely and warm .big enough to have a decent swim . Play park for kids looked fab .|Caravan was spotless ( looked brand new.very well equipped. |Beds comfy , large cooker, fridge freezer etc . The walk at the side of the camp is lovely . Walked by the river to Pentewan . Some nice pubs and eateries. Favourite for food was the Polgooth Inn . ( about 5 minutes drive ) great base for touring the area .

Lovely site witj pool and play area. Easy cycle into St Austell and other places to visit. Facilities SPOTLESS!!!!Laundry facilities. We were on a large pitch offering some privacy. Would definitely return. Owners very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

I have been coming back to rivervalley for many years. It’s the friendliest, small, quiet site, and you can cycle down a wooded glade to the beach. The Roseland peninsular is stunning and there is so much to do and see nearby. Thank you Paddy, Alison and the team!
