I booked all 3 rooms at Greyfox B&B for myself, my bridesmaids, my mum and sister for the evening before my wedding which was at a nearby venue. Kim was absolutely fantastic and we could not have asked for a more accommodating, helpful and friendly host. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds incredibly comfy so we all had a good night's sleep. The surroundings are beautiful and the view from the breakfast room incredible. We were all treated to a delicious breakfast and Kim went out of her way to ensure all of our needs were catered for. We could not have asked for anything more and were all so grateful for such a relaxing, peaceful stay. Thank you!

My friend and I stayed here as we were going to a concert at Weston Arboretum, Kim was such a welcoming host, we arrived and she upgraded us to a room with a private bathroom which was great. ||Breakfast was lovely, Kim extended her breakfast times so that we didnt have to rush or worry as it was a late night. The views crom the room were amazing.||I would defiantly be staying here again. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who want a quiet break in the countryside.

Delightful place that offers great views from the window. We were on top floor and watched the 'Cadbury's cows' go for a stroll in the morning. Apart from the comfortable rooms, the best part of the house is her host Kim. We arrived after a long drive and were looking to have a meal somewhere, Kim offered to drive us to Malmesbury to the restaurant and then picked us up and drove us back! One could not feel more welcomed by the host, who also noticed we brought wine with us and brought us wine glasses to the room. What a super-star!! So if you wish to switch off and fell like at home while away from home, this is the place to be. And yet you are a stone throw from Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury, Highgrove and other lovely little places in Cotswolds.

Stayed 2 days before 14.20 flight home from Birmingham. House is being renovated, bed is very comfortable, room is large, hot water is plentiful, its quiet, its in the country. What more could you want, with very large and tasty breakfasts. Kim and Roger are great hosts, who go out of their way to please and help. What more would I want, another stay!!| And the local restaurants and villages are a short drive and worth the visit. Took an hour to the airport via Kims directions.

The house is not far from Malmesbury town, it's an old house ina quite but lovely country farm scenery especially in the breakfast room. Room is clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast for guest is more than any one with very good appetite can eat, with fresh fruit, cereals plus cook food,,,you get feed more than a hotel will served you... In the evening it;s so quite one have a very good night sleep. Kim is also a talented pottery maker and some of her unique and one off design you can buy it much cheaper than in the shop. I recommend this B&B house to any one looking for a place to stay, no frills but hospitality makes up for it

We travelled to Grey Fox House quite late on in the evening and should have arrived at around 10pm, which we had prearranged with the owner Kim.
After about 20 mins on the motorway, the heavens opened and we had torrential rain, which was nearly impossible to drive in at any speed. We knew we were going to be alot later than arranged, so my wife messaged Kim and explained that we were going to be alot later and she couldnt have been more accommodating.
We finally arrived around 11pm. Kim was there to meet and greet and offered us a drink before showing us to our room. We couldnt see the outside as it was pitch black, but the inside of the house was beautiful. Old and stone bulit, with creaking exposed wooden floors and staircase. We loved it. Our room was huge, with a very clean and inviting comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities, wardrobe with extra towels, bathrobes and a hair dryer, 2 armchairs and table and the biggest sash window weve ever seen.
The tv in the room had a perfect picture and had radio too.
In the morning we woke up, showered in our own private bathroom and came down to be welcomed by 2 of the most beautiful dogs u will ever meet and Kim offering a cup of tea before breakfast.
We went out with the dogs River and Darcie, to see the house for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. A huge 3 story made from cotswold stone. The grounds were beautiful and next door to a working dairy farm just added to the experience. From the dining room where we were cooked and served a fantastic breakfast by Kim, u can sit at the table overlooking nothing but fields and farmland, with cows wandering around and ‘mooing’.
The sky is full of different birds, swifts circling the house, something weve never seen before.
Grey Fox house was an excellent base to go and explore the surrounding area’s such as the picturesque villages of Lacock and Castle Coombe.
We had our evening meal at the highly recommended ‘Cat & Custard Pot Inn’, which was about 3 mile away and served excellent food. Both owners Kim & Rog were more than helpful when it came to suggesting places to visit and helping u with directions. On our last morning, as usual, we were greeted by River, Darcie and Kim, who again offered a cup of tea before breakfast. The breakfast was again second to none and then we were ready to leave, but due to Kim & Rog’s kindness and hospitality, we sat in the garden with them both and the dogs for a good couple of hours, drinking tea and chatting.
I can honestly say that neither my wife nor myself have ever enjoyed staying in a b&b as much as we have this last weekend. I can also say that the couple of people who have written not so good reviews, must be the kind of people who are used to having some sort of butler at the front door with a champagne welcome........ i will never understand people that pick for the sake of picking and i will never see Grey Fox House from their perspective or point of view as i cant get my head far enough up my own bum. If u want a butler and champagne, u wont get it here, but what u will get is 2 really nice honest people, who will go out of their way for u, cook u a decent breakfast and let u stay in their beautiful house. As long as u like dogs, youll love it and we are now lucky to call Kim & Rog our friends.

The whole building was dirty and unfinished. Paint had been partially stripped off the stairs and banisters leaving them dusty. The stairs and floors were really noisy and you could hear all the other guests coming and going throughout the day and night. Our bedroom was filthy, thick layers of dust under the bed, in the corners of the room and all around the shower cubicle. There were enormous cobwebs on the ceilings, with spiders in them. The paintwork was shoddy, a filthy light switch had been painted over with a roller. The tiling in the bathroom was filthy and uneven creating a breeding ground for germs. Breakfast was small and over cooked and not of the quality you would expect when staying on a farm. The "continental" option was stale tesco weatabix, stale cornflakes or unidentified muesli. My poached egg on toast was dry and very small and my husbands full English was over cooked, served with stewed tea. When we mentioned these issues with the owner we were confronted with a rude reply and told to stay in hotels in the future, not the warm and welcoming reply we would have expected from a business owner. At this price per night we would have expected far better. The alternative accommodation we booked just a few miles away was far superior and significantly cheaper.||The only brightside was the location, peaceful and in the middle of nowhere, but there are plenty more better value for money B&Bs around.

A beautiful B&B in the peaceful countryside - a short drive or walk to Malmesbury and Sherston Villages. Loads of lovely walks to do - Kim gave me some maps of walking trails which was fantastic. A truly restful weekend - would highly reccomend!
