I had a fantastic work-related stay (so can't speak about the location). The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, happy to give directions and offer great food recommendations. Speaking of their food, it was absolutely outstanding. I didn’t expect such top-notch cuisine in such a remote location. The room itself had the necessary privacy and amenities for a comfortable stay. All in all, a memorable stay. I've saved the spot for the future, who knows!

From start to finish, we were made to feel so welcome, the hospitality was excellent! Our room was lovely and spacious, we were two adults, two teenagers and a big dog and still had plenty of room. Nothing was too much trouble, we were given advice and suggestions for activities. There is lots of space in the hotel and in the outside areas too. Everything was clean and of excellent quality, breakfast was delicious. We definitely plan to return.

We stayed in room 7 after a warm welcome at reception. We were attending an event at Westonbirt Arboretum which was about 9 miles away but a pleasant drive. Was really hot when we stayed so was grateful for the fan in the room. A basic room and bathroom but very clean and the bed was really comfy. Slept really well. Breakfast lovely in the morning and service in the bar the night before was great. The hotel restaurant has an Indian menu which looked really nice. Would definitely return and recommend to others. I booked through lastminute.com.

Just returned from a two night stay at the Pettifers hotel . Just a small minor negative comment is that the public areas of the hotel are probably in need of a tidy up, just a bit shabby but still clean. However the positives outweigh the negatives. We had a lovely spacious and comfortable courtyard room, with a king size bed and big bathroom with walk in shower . |We ate in the in house Indian restaurant and had a tasty indian meal . Another plus was that our dog was allowed in all areas and made to feel as welcome as we were. The outstanding part of this hotel were the owners and staff of this friendly establishment. The service we had was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble , which in turn created a very relaxed atmosphere. All the effort made to ensure we had a relaxed stay was really appreciated .

Nicely situated for the Cotswold Airport. Good comfortable (single) room. Nice to see lots of electric plugs. No problem to charge up all your devices. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not suitable for persons of reduced ability. Steep stairs to the rooms and steps everywhere.

Warm welcome, beautiful garden area and a fabulously comfy bed. Room was airy and light with a large en suite. Dinner was very good. This is a friendly stop, well located with lots of potential. A little attention around cleanliness and consistency would make this an easy 5 star review.

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds, with a fantasic pub just down the road. Breakfasts were excellent, and the owner's son, who also waited on us, was a real standout - friendly and attentive. The bar, being a freehouse, had a good selection on tap and a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy your drink. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, the bathrooms could be updated, but a decent base if you're after somewhere simple and well-situated.

Credit must go to each and every single member of staff we came across, from the guy who checked us in to all the bar/ restaurant staff, to the cleaner nothing was too much trouble! Customer service you should be proud of! My mum enjoyed a solo breakfast on the Saturday morning but was made to feel at home and welcome making it an enjoyable experience for her. Once again thankyou to all the staff! Will certainly be returning.
