We stayed for an overnight on our way back home from a week’s holiday in England. After a long drive up from Kent the Morecambe Hotel was a surprise we did not expect. |The place was very busy when we arrived however the staff made time to get us checked in sorted out our table for dinner ( pre booked). |The menu choice was excellent for a coeliac which made the experience all the better, any questioned ask were double checked with the kitchen.|The steak pie was fantastic, for once a real steak pie… my wife had a steak which was cooked just right. We both had pudding equally good. After a week on holiday this was our best meal of the week… the staff while extremely busy could not have been more helpful.|Our room was great, nice bed and bathroom. Good shower in morning as well.|Breakfast continued where dinner ended, fantastic a Sauage buttie to remember..|Once again the staff made the difference and would definitely stay here again..

Nice pub, good range of drinks, real ale. Nice interior decor, large garden, lovely on a summer evening. We were going to eat, but they were short staffed, so we didn't wait, but will be back. A little away from the front, but maybe the better for it.

Stayed here overnight before travelling on to inverness. Absolutely good location close to amenities. Really good customer service the staff outstanding carried our luggage up to rooms 👏little help like that goes along way .Room was lovely 😍 everything you need definitely come back again. Entertainment did go to buzz bingo that's opposite which was good 👍 back to hotel for some drinks .Breakfast was fantastic. Thank you to all staff keep up good work 👏

Stayed here for work, staff very friendly and accommodating could not do enough for you.
Rooms comfy, clean and pleasant.
Had an evening meal was fantastic and so was breakfast again staff brilliant and accommodating.
Would stay again and recommend.
Separate parking as well which is a bonus .

We had a meal here on Saturday night, it wasn’t that busy but the service was unbelievably slow. Maybe not enough staff but not any excuse for the owners. We both had steak I asked for mine well done which was not what came. A good vet could have had mine up and walking again. No check back on the food, so after 40 min wait finally got to complain. They did refund the meal, but that’s not the point. I didn’t go there to come away hungry. Won’t be going back . If you do go and it’s not 100% complain.

OK ISH food
very expensive. needed a bit more gravy for 8 of us for Sunday lunch. was given half a small jug and charged £4.50 most place's I have eaten in happily give you this free of charge. most veg over cooked except the Mange tout.

I called in for a drink with friends, unfortunately the pint of dizzy blond tasted of vinegar. This is the second time in a row I've been served sub-standard beer. Pity, because it is a nice recently refurbished bar, clean and well presented. |I'll be asking for a sample to taste before I order a pint next time.

We went on Saturday night. The service was shocking we ordered a drink and the server brought it. It was 20 minutes before she took our food order. The starters were ok but the mains came and my husband ordered well done steak. It was raw. Nobody came back to check so he couldn’t send back to get it cooked more. We complained after 30 minutes when finally came to remove our plates. They did refund us for the wasted food but this does not make up for our spoiled evening. We won’t be returning this used to be a lovely place to visit it’s such a shame.
