Stayed not far from the hotel and went for a meal with our whippet.
Lovely pub, the interior was really done nicely and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating! The food was amazing. My husband said it’s the best pie he had ever had! All our food was delicious and quite possibly the best chips I’ve had in a pub! If you are close by you need to visit! Highly recommend!!!

Good beer, nice atmosphere. The only remaining full range pub in the village. The food wasn't bad, although it wasn't great either. Fish and chips - fish was a bit old. Salads - my wife got exactly the same one with her main as with the starter. Long may it survive as it's a great asset to Silverdale. Didn't stay in the accommodation so can't comment on it.

We stopped for lunch here after a soggy walk. Dog friendly. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The food was excellent. The ingredients were very fresh and tasty!!! The kids meals as well had high quality ingredients instead of cheaper alternatives! We will definitely be back again.
Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms.

"5 STARS – Warm, Welcoming, and Good Value"

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The staff were exceptional—friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. Whether it was the evening team at dinner, the cheerful breakfast staff, or the gentleman who kept everything spotless, each one treated us with such kindness it truly made the holiday.

The hotel is great value, and the food was lovely; evening meals were generous and delicious, with some lovely vegetarian options. Breakfasts were just as impressive—hearty, satisfying, and served with endless tea, coffee, cereals, and a full vegetarian English, all brought to the table with a smile.

The hotel is just a short stroll from the coast, perfect for watching the sun go down, and there is a peaceful gravel enclosed garden area to one side and handy parking to the other.

Excellent service, lovely food. Visited for my sons birthday, all good, had a lovely time, staff very attentive and we all had a good meal, also has a fab beer garden. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here prior to getting the boat from Heysham which is 30/40 mins away.||The stay was very good across the board but what I think was exceptional was the team that work there. From checkin to check out, every interaction was positive. Bar and food were good too, as was the breakfast.||I was on a motorbike and some others parked out the front but there is also a car park at the side/rear.||I’ve already booked here next year as I’m making the same trip.

Had a stay at Gibraltar farm which is fantastic and visited silver dale hotel as usual when where up this end for a meal.
I must say my steak and ale pie and chips was the best I have ever had. Delicious, the pie was stuffed with steak and large..., chips were tasty too ,my partner had the tastes like meat burger which she said was the best she'd had and mistook the bacon topping for the real deal
I tried a taste of the burger and bacon which were both amazing and both tasted like the real deal
My partner called the waitress just to check..and yes it was veggie . I was amazed . The waitress told us it gets queried often.
Truly very good..polite, and courteous staff and made very comfortable. Nice ambience.
Definitely 5 star for me and my partner. Very close to campsite and beach. ,👍🏿

Stopped for lunch second time in 2 weeks as so good!
Excellent home made pie and fish and chips. All said the best pub meal we have had for a very long time. Excellent service too, very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. A shout out to the younger staff too who were a credit to the pub. Will be back soon.
