I stayed here for one night, to break up a longer drive heading further north. Service was very good and I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff upon arrival, who knew all of the local information.

My room had a single bed. It was clean upon arrival, I found the bed to be comfortable (sprung mattress) and all en-suite facilities worked well. Being a 3 Star hotel, I feel it's acceptable to have floorboards that creak and uninsulated plasterboard walls (I've read other reviews complaining about this). You might get some noise from a nearby pub but it doesn't go on all night.

A short walk to the seafront and several dining options with takeaways. Parking is free along the road (although you may not be able to park directly outside) and the hotel entrance is easy to find. Staff will help with luggage and more, if required.

My only real disappointment was that some of the information in the room's guidebook was out of date. Although, information at reception is correct and up to date. I ordered a breakfast for the next morning which was well cooked, delivered on time and set me up well for the day ahead.

I'd recommend this hotel to others and will consider staying again when I'm next in the area.

We had a great stay Saturday night 22nd of February . Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful it’s in a great location 2 minutes from the promenade . Room was clean and comfortable breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be back thank you Stacey and Christopher x

Had a two night stay. The owners were very friendly and gave suggestions where to eat in Morecambe. The breakfast was lovely, and serving time was flexible. The room was very clean. Managed to park close and it wasn’t too far to walk into town. I would have no hesitation recommending The Sanderling.

Arrived at the Sanderling Hotel late afternoon and was let in by a lovely welcoming lady. Booking in was easy and quickly done at the little desk. I was shown to my single room at the top of the hotel; lots of stairs so be prepared. The room was clean, tidy and perfect for my one night stay. If I’m honest I’d have been happy staying longer. The host showed me where everything was and left me to unpack. Comfortable bed and the room was warm. Shower was great and good pressure considering I was right at the top. It was very quiet in the hotel so can’t comment on the ‘thin walls’ but I had a fantastic nights sleep. Didn’t have the breakfast as had to be away early. I will definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again when in Morecambe. Many thanks.

We booked the hotel because our ferry to the Isle of Man was canceled. The hostess is incredibly friendly. She made sure our motorcycles were safely stored and kept us regularly updated on the current ferry situation. We checked out during the night since our ferry departed at 2:15 AM. She even left us a bag of candies with a note. 🙂

Dave and meru the hosts were really friendly the rooms were clean the breakfast was great. We had a great night's sleep. The little seated area at front was a right sun trap would definitely visit again a short walk to the promenade we stayed for 2 nights

A group of 14 of us stayed here the night before my daughter's wedding - including the bride and 10 bridesmaids! The staff at the hotel could not have been more accomodating and helpful. The whole squad took over the breakfast room to get ready and we were supplied with everything we needed including a late check out so we had access to a toilet, and for the bride to dress. I imagine that anyone staying here would be greeted, and cared for, in a similar kind, friendly, and helpful way.

We were informed by the locals we met that it was under new management. Service we received was friendly and welcoming. A few minor tweaks and I would have rated 5 stars because it was value for money 👍🏽 upon check-in we weren't told that the fob was an actual key fob for the entrance door, we were told about it after our walk before going out for dinner. Also while getting ready unfortunately the fire alarm went off (triggered by a fault in the system)! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Didn't mind that we didn't have a view as you just stepped outside and saw it.
Breakfast was good with decent portion sizes and quality 👍🏽😊 overall a good experience.
