|Had another super break in this little gem of hotel. Location fabulous with outstanding views from rooms,lounge and terrace. Cleanliness is of a high standard throughout. The rooms are modern and have stylish bathrooms The breakfast is fabulous served brilliantly by Denise. Meals are excellent, good choice and beautifully cooked / prepared by Sue.|Good choice in bar and Lilia,Dylan and Matthew make you most welcome.|Ideal spot for touring and close to Grange and Cartmel Village. Good parking on site available. Entertainment and BBQs offered on lovely terrace ( weather permitting).|Allan and Sue are great hosts and you are assured a friendly, warm welcome by them and their staff throughout your visit. |Thoroughly recommend and already looking forward to our next visit .

What a stunning location and excellent views from the hotel terrace and rooms only surpassed by the warmth and friendliness of the owners and staff. Al and Sue made sure everyone felt at home in their oasis food and service was top notch and great value. Superb location for taking in a day at the races or just exploring Cartmel village and the surrounding areas. Very dog friendly and we can’t wait to return and this time bring out Labrador in tow. Would highly recommend for a stay or just to call in and sample the cosy bar and wonderful food and hospitality.

READ ALL......What can i say about this little gem, firstly on arrival it boasts in great views across the fields with the shoreline in the distance, plenty of parking with extra spaces down on the grass. Beautiful patio area perfect for a chilled drink or food while the sunsets. Rooms were well above standard and we had a nice little gift left in our room to celebrate our occasion. Bed was super comfy and the room was spacious beyond need. Room comes with the usual amenities. I would recommend if you stayed here to eat as well, food was exceptionally good, homemade and freshly cooked. Gave homely feels and the owners Allan and Sue made it feel exactly that. Super dog friendly and the grounds are safe for pets to roam free. Breakfast is immense and again cooked fresh to order, and comes free if you book direct through the website. Dylan and his partner Lily are a credit to the small family run business and made the time to sit and interact with the guests which just goes to show what a great family run business this really is. Dylan gave us some great ideas for a hike around the local lands as well as around lake windermere which isn't far away at all. Everything about the The Inn Cartmel is perfect and i couldn't fault anything about our 2 night stay, only wish we had stayed longer. Perfect for families, couples or single guests, everyone is made welcome. It's so good we have already planned our stay here again.|Thank you for having us.

We had a marvellous three night stay in Leven with tremendous weather and a super view over the estuary as promised in their description. Loads of storage, very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Breakfast included ( if you book direct with them) was freshly cooked and delicious. We ate there each night and again the standard and the pricing was very good.|We were welcomed and made to feel at home by all the family..Al, Sue and Dylan.|We hope to visit again and would thoroughly recommend the Inn.

If you are looking for a peaceful, scenic welcoming getaway then you came to the right place. Our morning view from the window was breath taking. It rained one afternoon so they set up the fireplace and the cosy atmosphere made me forget about the weather. Sun came out for the sun set as we sat outside in peace with the world. Stars were amazing at night and the staff are very attentive. Got to get back again this summer!

Lovely place, comfy bed, great views from the front of the building. I was expecting a little more for the amount we paid for the room - just bits like no shower gel and the tv remote was filthy. The staff member was lovely at breakfast the next day.

Fabulous stay over the Easter weekend. Great hosts, lovely food and very comfortable room.||Nestled conveniently between Cartmel and Grange and a great base for exploring further afield. ||Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. The restaurant and bar facilities have a great choice in a very comfortable and relaxing setting. ||We will be back !

We stayed in Motorhome on campsite nearby.|Had a fantastic couple of nights. The owners Al and Sue are so welcoming and hospitable. Staff are also very friendly. Wonderful views from the patio area. Dog friendly, reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
