Terrible place now won’t be going back .. it was nice and peaceful when Gareth owned the pub now it’s a mess.. the young girls working behind the bar are going out there way to cause trouble and shouting on the streets at customers horrible

Booked last minute a family room with shared bathroom for myself, husband, and our toddler. When we arrived Kelly offered to switch us to a family room en-suite she had available and we gratefully accepted. There are two big flights of stairs to climb which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description on the site we booked through, but thankfully we didn’t have much with us and were physically able to climb them. Kelly was lovely and tried to help fix the WiFi so we could use it but unfortunately we weren’t able to connect after several attempts to troubleshoot. The TV in the room also didn’t work, but thankfully our boy was entertained plenty by watching all the cars drive by on the road below. The beds were fine… typical thin spring mattresses but in good condition, so not very comfortable but tolerable for one night. The full English breakfast cost an extra £10 each and that was the only breakfast option made available. I had it and did enjoy it. The location was great for us and Kelly provided great service. Overall those were the best parts about our stay here. On a tight budget for a family and with last minute booking, it is a decent hostel-like option for the area. But for what we actually got it seemed a bit overpriced.

I visited here with my partner. Came to order food and drinks. We wanted a coke to he told they don't sell it as it is too expensive because of sugar tax! (But the customers pay for it, don't they?). The food was awful, now I know why we were the only ones eating! I heard good reviews of the place, after it was on Hotel Inspector, but since found out they sold it, well ot has gone down hill.i won't be visiting again!

Popped in for dinner with a friend as we were in Morecambe for the weekend and staying just round the corner.

Lovely, friendly staff. Good menu with lots of choice. Food served quickly and was very tasty. Only had one beer, but was kept nicely and tasted wonderful.

We made a return visit after really enjoying our last meal.|We were very disappointed I’m afraid. |We both had the York burger, was supposed to be 2x4oz steaks in a bun with onions and mushrooms. It was inedible, full of gristle and an awful lot of fat. Was supposed to have nachos and it didn’t. Even the bun was dry. The onions rings were very good though. When our plates were collected it was obvious it hadn’t been eaten. Had we been asked if we’d enjoyed our meal, we would have been honest and you would have had chance to put things right rather than me writing a review. My last review couldn’t have been any better. How sad, I do hope you survive but you will have to up your game

Fish & chips (or mash) to die for, huge portions, freshly cooked. The owners are the most genuine and friendly people, and all the staff were polite. Its away from the seafront but well worth a visit. We were made to feel really welcome and will definitely be back.
