Just back from a 2 night stay at Gibraltar Farm. Arrived on Friday afternoon as the cows were heading in for milking, and then onto an efficient and friendly check in. ||We stayed in our campervan in the tent field at the bottom of the site. Nice and tidy, good views and a five minute walk to the pebble beach. ||Shower blocks and toilets were really clean on all visits. ||The site is nice and quiet, rules presumably enforced as the site did fall silent after 11pm. ||0.8 mile walk to Silverdale Village where there are a couple of dog friendly pubs, cafe, Co-op etc. Plenty of nice walks in the area directly from the site. ||We would stay here again for a relaxing weekend.

We had the most relaxing stay at the beautiful Gibraltar Farm campsite over the Easter holidays. It was our first stay in our new motorhome (we have stayed previously in a tent) and nothing was too much trouble for the steward and the owner. They even lent us a tap fitting when we realised (being novices) that we hadnt got the right one! We were treated to just the most stunning views across Morecombe Bay right from our pitch, and the sunsets were a sight to behold! Every time we used the toilet facilities they were spotlessly clean and spacious, there are also accessible facilities as I am disabled. The site is extremely well maintained and the paths were suitable for my mobility scooter. Our pitch was level and clearly marked and was spacious enough that we were able to sit out on the grass and relax without feeling overlooked. The site is beautifully peaceful and quiet, even though it was school holidays, and we spent lots of time relaxing and reading as well as walks to Jenny Browns Point and into the village. Our teenage son was able to go off and explore the woodland, beach and surrounding areas. We slept very soundly. The steward and owner were both friendly and welcoming and obviously take pride in the site and their work. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Where do I even begin to describe this Amazing campsite?! From the moment we arrived, The Views were spectacular and it was clear this place was something special. The staff were absolutely outstanding – genuinely helpful and so incredibly friendly,The facilities were top-notch; the showers and toilets were consistently spotless, a real testament to their care They also had a Fresh milk vending machine and a lovely little stall for ice creams, were such a treat!
The location is simply breathtaking. Imagine waking up to stunning views and having a wealth of beautiful woodland walks right on your doorstep. Plus, the charming village of Silverdale, with its convenient Co-op, inviting cafe, and traditional pub, is just a quick 5-minute drive (or a pleasant 15-20 minute stroll). While parking in Silverdale can get a little busy during peak times, it's a minor consideration compared to the overall experience.
The only tiny thing I'd mention is the no fire pit policy. On a couple of particularly chilly evenings, the warmth of a fire would have been wonderful. However, this is a very small point in what was otherwise a truly fantastic stay, and the reasonable prices make it even better value.
We will absolutely be returning in the summer Thank you again for such a memorable experience!

Stayed here for two nights! Really lovely people who run the site. Facilities were nice and very clean. Great location looking out to the sea and a very short walk from the shore. The large camping field was a little bit busy and noisy, however where were was very quiet and everyone respected the rules of the site. Highly recommended and the Silverdale hotel do amazing food that is only a short walk

We absolutely love Gibraltar Farm Campsite. The views are breathtaking. We have seen many a beautiful sunset here. We love stargazing at night and with so little light in the area enjoying seeing shooting stars together as a family is priceless. The site is well maintained and looked after and even on a busy weekend the toilets are spotless after being cleaned twice a day! ||Our children are safe and can play in the open spaces and on ‘pride rock’ till their hearts content. This time they loved how much wild garlic was growing, and played so much in this area, we even cooked with some; and named the area ‘garlic mountain’ (it’s the little things!) ||The staff here go above and beyond which is why we return every year. Thank you for another fabulous stay at your campsite!

Booked a 4 night stay online as this site looked and sounded amazing.|Upon arrival, we were met by Amy, I happened to mention the pitch was in the shade. The reply was something I didn't expect.' WEll, YOU CHOSE IT!!! was her reply. Yes, I did, from a paper drawing on your site which I hadn't visited before.|Later that evening, we were sat listening to music very low outside as it was a lovely evening. The site was really empty, and the music was on level no 2, which I might add we could just barely hear.|As we were eating our tea, we were approached by someone who said there was a NO MUSIC POLICY DUE TO THE COUNCIL.|I was later informed she was the warden.|OMDays!!! I could understand if the music was blaring but no2..... If music shouldn't be played at a low sound, it should have been mentioned on the website, but it wasn't, and had it of been I wouldn't have booked.||Apparently, a WiFi code should have also been given, but it wasn't. There is also no signal for tv.|There was a note attached to the door of the toilets stating they were unisex, this also wasn't mentioned on the site and had no idea why, as there were other toilets not put to use. You can see by the photo that the urinals have been taped up.|We arrived on Wednesday when this was on the doors. By Friday, the note had been removed. If unisex toilets and showers 🚿 were on the website, we wouldn't have booked either, as I need privacy.|Unfortunately, the site for us has no atmosphere what so ever and a cemetery has more life in it. We will not return due to this unsatisfying experience.

Another great visit to Gibraltar farm. The site is immaculate. Toilets and showers always spotless and there is everything you could need for a fabulous weekend. Views over Morecombe bay breathtaking and the sunsets definitely a site to behold. The site is walking distance to the village with a couple of pubs, indian restaurant, coffee shops and convenience store. Amazing walks from the site, no need to travel anywhere. We will definately be back again.

Love this campsite with great views and a great ten mile circular walk to Arnside including three pubs on route. Facilities are spotless and the site looks well looked after. Very warm welcome from the warden on site. Steep access through a working farm but not an issue for cars and vans.
