I rarely leave reviews, but I was impressed by the hotel so I'm doing so now. I travel a lot to and from Manchester airport, and generally stay in Premier Inn quality hotels as I will be looking for nothing more than a bed for the night, and a tv. Not always, so I do know what a 5 star hotel provides. I was impressed by three things. First, the building is lovely, and has been updated by someone who knows what they are doing. The lift is, I would guess, from the 1940's or 1950's, and hasn't been replaced with a modern elevator, and the proportions of the rooms are generous. Take a look in the ballroom. Second, the decoration is new, and tasteful. (The bathroom tiles are contemporary and although they are not to my own taste they are really smart). Third the place was spotless - the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. The staff were friendly, and I'll be back.

Amazing atmosphere, I have stayed here previous before the refurbishment but wow what a place the royal kings arms really is! Classy, elegant, friendly, spacey, clean and all round amazing! Cocktails are to perfection! Will be booking a short stay next month guys!! ❤️

Our room was comfortable and very clean. We were lucky to stay during a St. George celebration done on site - The Morris Dancers were so entertaining! Talented Amy Rae sang her original songs in The Crypt Bar and it was a pleasure meeting the personable hotel manager who was so engaging. He even surprised me with a birthday treat! All was lovely!

Came here to visit from the 02/05/25 - 05/05/25 Lancaster for the first time . Firstly I would like to say Sally who works behind the front desk is honestly amazing. She is so kind and caring a true asset to the hotel nothing was to big for her to help fix. She made our experience amazing. House keeping kept the rooms beautiful and clean and the the hotel it's self smelt lovely clean and well looked after. Breakfast was so worth it and amazing. I can't praise this hotel enough thank you so so much truly we will be back and I can't wait to see all the staff again but especially Sally this is definitely more then a 3 star hotel it's more of a 5 star hotel. And food was 10/10

We came here for a family dinner in the evening. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was both friendly and exceptional. Those with allergies were well accommodated, and the food was generally quite good. My mother's chicken dish was unfortunately overcooked and inedible, but the pasta the rest of us enjoyed was delicious along with the dessert. Overall, we had a pleasant evening and I would recommend it for the pasta and wonderfully calm atmosphere. 🙂

Hotel room was adequate, dated, but well appointed. The key to the success for me was the restaurant and the staff. The food was excellent. Home cooked (including the chunky chips!). The pasta dish my wife had was fresh with sea food. In addition, the staff were superb. Catered to our needs, albeit minimal, but friendly to boot.

I would highly recommend The King's Arms. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean. The bed was comfy. It's a perfect location for the sights and shops. We parked in the Dallas car park which was a 5 minute walk away. £14 for 24hrs

Very close to the town centre. Staff were really friendly. Only called in for a few cocktails which were very good. The beer garden was a really relaxing place in the sunshine. Unfortunately we didn't stay so therefore cannot comment on rooms.
