We have just had a 8 days wonderful holiday in this BnB which we highly recommend. The farmhouse is in a lovely peaceful setting. Anne and Dave are very good hosts. Immaculately clean and cosy. Anne is an excellent cook and we had a good choice of breakfast with starters as well. A treat to have fresh fruit salad every morning. We had dinner there every night. Lovely home cooking and the desserts were amazing. A relaxing break after a difficult 18 months, Good value.||Thank you Anne and Dave.

Fantastic BnB! We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The owners are really warm and welcoming and so accommodating! They even got up at 5.30am on Sunday morning to get us breakfast before we dashed off to our triathlon event. I was really surprised at how extensive their vegan breakfast menu was and the porridge is sublime! 100% recommend the place. The bed was very comfy too and we even got a visit from a cat (we left the window to wide open, ha-ha).

Second year visited now. The house is brilliant, bit dated with the decor but it works. 5 rooms caters for our party of 8 really well. Plenty of space in the house. Ample parking. Kitchen well equipped. Hot tub for the second year running doesn't work. Half the party did NOT go in which is th main reason we book this house. We reported it on Friday when we arrived. Told someone would come look at it on Saturday but no-one did. Looking back on reviews it seems it hasn't worked for a number of years. Very disappointing. We haven't booked again and want a working hot tub. So if your not bothered about it, it's a great place to stay. Good location too! It right next to an working farm so can be smelly at times but not all the time and this does increase the number of flies around. A fly light is available to turn on in the kitchen but be warned it pops quite loud when a fly gets hit!

We stayed in the adjoining cottage Rusland View.|The cottage was warm, clean and cosy. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. Fresh cake waiting for us with a pint of milk, coffee and teabags was indeed very thoughtful.|Shower was nice and hot. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Sofa was leather and if you've ever sat one it feels really cold, but a blanket solved that issue!|Views over the hills changed daily which was so lovely to see from the dining table.|Ideal central location albeit several miles down a lane! for discovering the whole area.|Ann went out of her way to make my birthday special. At the request of my hubby via email to her, there was surprise flowers and balloons waiting for me ( obviously at extra expense ) but it was such a memorable moment

What a lovely farmhouse in the middle of unspoilt views every which way you turn. We have just got back from spending a weekend here, the room we stayed in was nicely done, exceptionally clean and everything thought of. The breakfast was lovely and owners are really nice and welcoming people. Would definitely recommend

We had a really lovely stay at Crosslands B&B. Anne and David were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was really tasty and had a great gluten free option. The farm is situated in georgeous surroundings and is so quiet and peaceful. We will definately be back for another visit.

A short drive up the lanes off the A590 and you're there. A warm welcome was given by Anne and our room overlooked the fields. Our cosy room had everything we required and the sizeable en-suite had bath and a great shower. Every night's sleep was good, fresh air and a comfy bed.||Breakfast is made to order either cooked or lighter options and tastes great.||We toured around but if we had been grounded we could have enjoyed the garden or if the weather was poor sit in the lounge by the fire if its cool.||We found good places to eat locally, just a short drive away, just ask Anne for her advice.

We had the most delightful, but all too brief stay with Anne and David. Their home is stunning and they offer a very cosy living room with well lit wood burner for guests to enjoy, comfortable beds, clean and well appointed bathrooms and delicious breakfasts. Just sad we couldn’t have stayed longer, but we do know where to come back to next time we’re in The Lakes! Thank you both for having us to stay. The Wisker family
