My self and my adult son stayed at this gorgeous B&B. Everything was outstanding. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful rooms and the beds were so comfy. The linen was top quality. Such friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. John who serving remembered my son’s drink he had with his breakfast and his name. Great food, love the poached eggs on sour dough toast with mushrooms and tomatoes. Very sad to leave but we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s the best.

Beautifully appointed room with very comfy king size bed and lovely bathroom with superb walk in shower. Overlooking Cartmel square with all the main highlights, restaurants, etc within a very short walk. Parked the car 100 yards away at the Racecourse and left it there the whole time so we could enjoy some of the many delightful walks in the area. Super accommodation in the perfect location.

Beautiful rooms with attention to detail combined with wonderful bathroom fittings. A really great shower! The homemade shortbread biscuits were melty and went really well with a good selection of teas and a pod coffee machine. Choices for pillows and lovely fabrics. We had 3 nights and delicious breakfasts each morning which we varied each day as there was an excellent choice and Rachel is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely one night stay here at the weekend. The room and the bathroom in particular is gorgeous. Lovely little touches in the room to make it feel special. It’s in a perfect location right in the square. All English Breakfast the next morning was perfect . Would definitely return and recommend to others

What a gorgeous place, we had a lovely stay. Bedrooms were clean, very well equipped and the bathroom was beautiful. The location was perfect and breakfast was delicious. Everyone was so welcoming, we couldn't fault any part of our stay. We will 100% be staying here again and we can't wait. Thankyou for going above and beyond to make our first stay in Cartmel a very happy memory. xx

Lovely stay on the square in Cartmel. The room was amazing - gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. Rachel was so welcoming and we had a beautiful breakfast too. We may return on one of the race days!! Loved it.

We have just returned from a wonderful three night stay at Coffee and Stays in Cartmel. Rachel and her team looked after us really well. The rooms are both immaculate and beautifully appointed. There was a great view from our window seat across the square. In our rooms we had fresh coffee (and pods) from the nespresso machine with fresh milk put in the fridge every day. There was a good sized tv and free internet provided. We were also provided with locally sourced and hand made toiletries. The breakfast was cooked freshly every day. There was lots of choice and it was presented beautifully. It also tasted really good too. If you’d like a relaxing break in a really special place then this is for you. We’ll certainly be returning and I think that sums up our very high opinion of our stay.
