I know this place and who has it. Very roomy in each room. Certainly clean and very well laid out. Family accomodation certainly but couples are very welcome also. Only 8 miles into Whitby, but there is a bus service you could use.
Possibly only 3 to 4 miles to Grosmont. Quaint village train runs through both Grosmont and Sleights. So another form of transport. Train is inexpensive and takes the stress of driving away making for a fab day out. If you fancy c.f. a day out at Sandsend buses run from Whitby bus station to Sandsend..Also Gothland isn't far, again beautiful village which is where Heartbeat was filmed. Lovely walks every ace you visit..

Fantastic cottage. Lots of space and and nice garden to sit in and relax. Situated perfectly to explore The North Yorkshir Moors, whitby and surrounding areas.
