I'm from Hull. Been out for the day stopped off at Harry's for something to eat. Straight from the off the staff was brilliant. We was greeted really well and shown to our table (it was table service too) once sat down the one of the other female staff came over asked if we would like drinks we ordered the drinks then presented the menu. Once the three of us dicided what we wanted the female staff came over ASAP. She was fantastic took our order she was really polite and had a lovely smile as did all the other staff. The food didn't take long to come out served with a smile and lovely to us all. The food we had fish and chips it was well presented and was really delicious. As we was eating we were asked if everything was okay and it was it was really great. I advise anyone especially visitors to go to Harry's great experience friendly and house warming staff. We are going back when we next visit Whitby

Great location, incredibly friendly staff and amazing vegetarian tapas on a Thursday. Good variety of alcoholic drinks and amazing choice for non-alcoholic drinks. Everything was reasonably priced.

One night stay - The instructions from the Team on arrival were very clear and they were extremely helpful, checking in was simple and parking easy. The newly refurbished Bar and Restaurant area is lovely and we decided to eat in the hotel for our evening meal (which is highly unusual), which was fantastic. We stayed in the Moet penthouse room, which had a fantastic view of the harbour with a comfortable sofa quirky bathroom arrangement. It was furnished to a high standard and extremely clean. We have already planned to go back in the summer. We were really impressed with the levels of standards from the team. Everybody was so helpful and friendly. It was a breath of fresh air.

This morning we decided to attend Harry’s Bar for breakfast instead of having the standard breakfast in the hotel.||We ordered a large English breakfast and Brioche Eggy Bread. The server was very quiet and didn’t look us in the eye and hardly spoke. We had another server that brought our drinks who was very friendly and nice however.||Our breakfasts arrived and my wife’s was missing things on the plate that were described on the menu and the Brioche Eggy bread was for want of a better word soggy.||My breakfast was also missing items which were 1 sausage and a tomato and was also described as having Mushrooms and I have one single mushroom on the plate.||The breakfast that was on the plate was very mixed in quality with the eggs being fantastic and the sausage being fine however the beans, bacon and toast were terrible.||It was busy shortly after we arrived so I decided not to report the issues my breakfast as it tolerable to be missing 2 items at the time.||My wife’s was worse than mine so she did ask them to support and when she advised that her breakfast did not represent what was on the menu the male sever simply said what did expect to see?||We advised him of the missing items and the sogginess of the bread even though it was described as pan fried and he went and retrieved a menu and said yes your missing an item and went to retrieve it without addressing the other issues.||The environment was very high quality and a good atmosphere and the drinks were fine.||We would go back for drinks however we would not return for breakfast.

Disappointing.
We paid £17.50 for cod and chips and £13 for a chicken wrap. This seems to be the average price in Whitby, however much better options can be found nearby.
The regular cod and chips was small upon arrival and tasteless, with more batter than fish, the chips were pale and greasy. I did not end up finishing this meal as it was not an enjoyable experience to eat.
The chicken wrap was similarly small and tasteless.
Overall would not recommend as much better options can be found locally for similar, if not better prices.

Had a fantastic meal here. The fish and Scampi were delicious, so fresh and tasty. We had brilliant service from all the staff. Super efficient and very professional. Highly recommend

Rooms were lovely. Clean and modern. Great touches like leaving Prosecco, having fresh milk in the fridge, and some cake left, were all lovely.
Food wasn’t that great though - ok but nothing to write home about.

Stayed two nights. Staff cannot do enough for you. We stayed in Bellini, it had a great sea view. The ensuite wasn't huge but adequate. Despite being above the bar, it wasn't noisy and we slept well. We had a slight issue with the Bluetooth mirror but fed back to the owner who states she will look to rectify it. Bar drinks and cocktails amazing. Our full English was OK, so we opted for the continental basket delivered to our room the second morning which was much nicer. Location is bang on for exploring Whitby.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
