Perfect place for a family getaway. We stayed in one of the 8 pods. More than spacious enough for the 3 of us and the decking area with picnic bench was really handy. All amenities were clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. 👍

I have only been here twice but I'll definitely make it more regular. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The noise cut off point is 10pm so they come round just before that to make sure everyone is starting to quieten down. The facilities are very clean, they have 2 hours where they are closed to clean them during the day. There are half a dozen toilets and showers in each one. There are two toilet blocks one near the entrance and one down the other end of the campsite. Both very clean. There is a shop which opens at 8 for any basics you may need while your there. Due to being in a remote area there is no phone signal but they do give you access to WiFi. I could go on and on about all the positives for this site.

Wonderful campsite! Pure freedom, with all the comforts you could possibly want on a campsite. Lovely clean showers, beautiful scenery, and great pub over the road! I would return. I can also add that the staff are considerate and very welcoming!

Great site in the middle of Rosedale Valley, so perfect for a get away from it all as no phone signal. All staff were super friendly and helpful, pitches are all huge, all seeming to be fully serviced at a very reasonable price. Shower block immaculate on every visit over the 3 days there and smelt gorgeous too. Great, well-equipped park and little football pitch with benches (in the sun) for parents to chill on (I read half a book sat there!).
Great location for a plethora of scenic walks, all will involve a hill do you want to go more than a mile. Lovely pub at the entrance of the site.
Would highly recommend if you don’t want a commercial noisy site and we will defo be back

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights, joined by our daughter and partner the 2nd evening. This is a great site, the grounds and views are stunning, what more could you want? A stream running behind our campervans, lots of open space, a great play park, facilities were clean and tidy and plenty of toilets and showers. Electric had to be purchased on a top up card from the very friendly reception. There is a little shop that sells essentials and fishing nets for the kiddies :-). |My only criticism is the washing up area could be in an enclosed/ covered area with a sensor light. We were ok during our stay but on a wet day/evening this would be a negative. |The local village is just beautiful. We visited the local pub, Abbey and shop. Very friendly local people. |We walked up Chimney pot lane up to the old iron mines, a steep hill but the views are worth it.

I've been visiting Rosedale Abbey for a few years now. This is the first time I've stayed at this park but wow what an unbelievable experience.|You get such a warm welcome from the lady at reception on arrival and that was pretty much the theme for the duration of our stay. We stayed in Pod No1 which was excellent, they are spacious and the picnic table and bench was a great bonus.|The onsite facilities were immaculate, the other guests were lovely and friendly too.|The park is a great base for walking, we've completed a couple of walks, we will return and complete the rest.

Excellent site have been going for decades. They've just acquired the Howard now got toilets and temporary showers. You can still use the main facilities, just ask for the access code. We went on Hardstanding and the only thing I can recommend is take heavy duty gear to remove the pegs from the ground if you've put up an awning. Very hard standing 👍👍
