I sent the Mrs in for their Lorne (square) sausage and it didn’t disappoint, had it in Scotland a few times but this was great. We were served by a very helpful young man called Nathan I think. Nice one Blackwells.

Went in for the first time both myself and my husband .The food looked amazing I got parmo chips and closlaw and my hubby got lasagne chips and closlaw absolutely beautiful. Only downside was behind the counter there was food everywhere it wasn't tidy or cleaned down I know they are very busy but doesn't take a couple of seconds to clean surface area down

Best steaks I've ever eaten... Been going to Blackwell's for years and I've never had anything except, exceptional quality.

good but no where near as it was years ago buns arnt that fresh to be honest used to get two bacon three sausages in you sandwich now two sausages but more expensive staff are fantastic and lovely service counter staff amazing .

Bought 1kilo of stewing steak of which a 1/3 turned out to be fat and gristle and when I’m being charged £15 kilo…I won’t be going back ..I’d heard it was one of the best butchers in the area…I wanted to try and get away from supermarket meat and support a local business…however it was over priced and of poor quality.🤔
