I booked it for two night to spend time with my family.
However, as soon as we got there, we left. And I have been working all day, driving 2h and then had to leave.
Woman said will give the money back (half) but I had to cancel and send her my bank details. She didn't.
Why we choose to loose our money and leave that place?
No privacy- AT ALL!
We were given two rooms upstairs, looks like next to them. Like in hostels, but hostel cost tenner a day.
The garden area was not cleaned at all, if you need the toilet, you have to go upstairs though their living room. Where they did eat when I arrived. Sure we all need our meals, but I felt so very uncomfortable. It was bad, really, really bad. Absolutely not worth £250 (and kids stays for free) so basically just for beds 50 per person.. and it is like a hostel!

We've travelled as family, with our 7 years old daughter.
The location is amazing, and the place itself is very nice. The host Karen and her partner very friendly (they even prepared a pizza for us)
Only few things to note and hopefully it be taken in consideration..
First of all it is a shame that the place looks very unmaintained. I understand there is lots of work involved to look after the animals and gardening but for people to return, it will be great to care more about the garden and those animals.
The place has a huge potential and the location is great for having a relaxing time and spend quality time with family in wonderful location.
My message to the host is to employ someone to look after the place and I'm sure that you will have lots of happy customers in the future 😊

I have absolutely no idea how this place has the audacity to state Glamping. It's more like slumming it. The website is very good at hiding what an absolutely ramshackle site it is. There are no toilet facilities other than a hole in the ground covered by a flimsy tent which is not stated in tbe description. Absolutely no privacy. Shower is a stained and moldy wood cubicle built into the "washing up" area. The water was scalding with no way to turn it down as its source is a metal outdoor tap. You only fit if you're no taller than 5'5"!! Again no privacy as the hut has glass doors and a pitiful curtain. |Tents were moldy, roof on the children's area was falling apart, filthy childrens trampoline, the outdoor table looked like it had had a skinful and was leaning over. Piles of scrap items covered in tarpaulin. Rotting fruit all over the balding grass. |Owners went to a party and the dogs barked and barked until nearly 10pm. |We stayed out as late as possible and left quick sharp in the morning.

Willow Barn has to be the most tranquil place we have ever stayed. Our host Vivienne was so friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice. The room we stayed in was so comfortable with all the amenities we could wish. We will certainly hope to return to this beautiful accommodation.

My son and I stayed at Willow Barn for a long weekend. It was a most relaxing experience with our wonderful hosts Karen and Richard. They catered for our allergies so well and without notice. Breakfasts are delicious and evening meals available on request. Again delicious! The grounds are very safe for families with children and so much to amuse them with. The animals are a great asset and with outside seating the ambience is perfect. We stayed indoors but there is glamping if you so wish. We will certainly be back very soon.

Firstly, our hosts Karen and Richard were so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a tent in the summer and it was lovely waking up to the sounds of the countryside.
We went back a couple of weeks ago and stayed in the house. The breakfast was amazing!
My son loved the hot tub and all of the animals, especially the horses.
It is in an idyllic setting and we will definitely be going back.

Well what can I say…..OUTSTANDING. My family and I are staying in a bell tent this weekend and it’s opened my eyes. The bell tent is spacious (there’s 5 of us) and clean. The animals are brilliant and the food wonderful. Karen, the host, and her daughters are so incredibly lovely. There is nothing they can’t do for us and any other guests. We would highly recommend staying here and we most certainly will be back.

We stayed in the cottage at Willow Barn. Karen and Richard were most attentive hosts. Kind, friendly and very accommodating. It was lovely meeting all the animals. My 7:30 cuppa sat with the goats was most enjoyable. Loved the alpacas too! The honesty bar is a lovely touch and was well stocked. Our accomodation was spacious for us 3 adults and 2 children. Tidy and clean! We will definitely be coming back
