Stayed at the Pig Shed Motel for our 5th time. First three in the Pig Sheds and now twice in the new Piglets. Visit just gone in the Piglet. Excellent place with everything you could want for in the room. Kitchen area nicely stocked with a coffees and teas. Outside decking area great. Aircon’ed in both the downstairs and upstairs bedroom which was well needed as the weekend was very hot. The one downside was that in the farm land around the piglets they appeared to be auditory bird scarers which sound like two shotgun blasts around every 15 mins. Now totally get why they are doing it and believe it works as saw the birds fly off after they went off! But if you have a dog that is sensitive to quick loud bangs, which ours is, it means you can’t all sit out on the decking area as it absolutely freaks him out. Wasn’t so bad inside with door and windows closed. But you want that outdoor space to be available and it wasn’t for us all. The scarers go off from about 6am until well into dusk. With our dog being how he is with that type of noise this would put us off coming back. Or at least we would find out before hand of that noise is throughout the year are over a period of time in the summer only. Ate twice in the very local George and Dragon pub and the food was great as usual!

We stayed at No: 7 Pig Shed Motel on a trip up to see family in Norfolk and found it easy to locate and in an excellent position for moving around the county, it is close (4-5 minutes) to Swaffham and stands behind the George and Dragon pub on the main round. The room was very clean and spacious and with plenty of amenities. A great shower and comfortable bed underfloor heating. All in all an excellent place to base yourself. Thank you folks for a superb stay

We live close by in Castle Acre but booked into the Pig Shed (with our spaniel) because we had a day with no plumbing at home. Delighted to find a large, very clean and comfortable room with great facilities. The Pig Shed in next door to a lovely pub too. Stay was also enhanced by a very nice and helpful house-keeper! Totally recommend - excellent value for money in a lovely setting. If we have excess house guests in future I would definitely use the Pig Shed to accommodate them (or preferably stay there myself!).

Wonderful!|We loved our stay at Pig Let's (No2). The accommodation was spacious, very well kitted out and comfortable, spotlessly clean, extremely comfy bed and lovely pillows (bad pillows can ruin a stay!). The view was gorgeous, looking over corn fields with a large deck to sit out on to enjoy a glass or two! We also had a lovely lunch at The George and Dragon next to Pig Let's. Easy parking too. The only very slight downside was having to shower in the bath. Would totally recommend and will return!

Lovely little place! Clean, spacious with everything you need for a stay. Quiet, countryside views next to a great pub but only just off the main A47 so great to venture around and explore. Plenty coffee/tea supplied and a small fridge.|I’d recommend!

If you don’t mind a rural location, which we don’t as visiting our nearby family, this is a fantastic motel. Immaculate, large room, king size bed and lovely bathroom. There is a little footpath to the next door pub, what more do you need? The room is thoughtfully equipped with tea, coffee, milk etc. The cupboard holding the hair dryer and iron has plugs and a mirror. So often you can’t see in a mirror with your hairdryer plugged in the nearest socket which is far away. Really top quality hotel/motel and we will use it the next time that we are in the area.

Stayed there with family and friends for a Birthday party at the George and Dragon pub next door. We had the motel to ourselves and have to say the accommodation was superb. We will certainly stay there again. The rooms and very spacious with underfloor heating to boot. Good for the business person to work from (desk layout) and for people to use as a base for touring Norfolk.
