We had a lovely father's day roast at the pig and butcher. Roast was 10/10. Perfect portion sizes, really tasty. They have a fun little climbing frame for the kids. Service was really slow but the staff were very apologetic and so busy so we can't complain as I'm sure normally it's not slow. Definitely be visiting again for a roast.

Absolutely amazing. First timers here. The welcome was amazing, the food out of this world. Desserts to die for.. flavour and size wise, not cholesterol.. 🤣 very reasonably priced drinks as well. Thank you pig and butcher!!

There were 2 of us and a dog, we didn't have a reservation and arrived just before 1pm on a Sunday. We spoke to a lovely barmaid who was welcoming then we sat outside, I ordered drinks at the bar and was told what meat they had today. We ordered, the food arrived promptly and everything was absolutely delicious. There is a play area for children outside so we listened to children and parents playing together while we ate which was lovely. We will return and I'd definitely recommend eating here.

Firstly if you haven’t eaten here yet then you don’t know what you are missing! Just had a Sunday lunch and it was delicious! 5 of us ordered different meals and they all came out at exactly the same time and were all piping hot. The portion size can only be described as very generous but we managed to empty our plates as the food was just so tasty! The service was excellent and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble and you don’t feel rushed at all. If you like home cooked, delicious food (and plenty of it) in a relaxed setting with great service then I can’t recommend The Pig & Butcher highly enough….an oh so easy 10 out of 10!

Excellent! This was our first visit and definitely won’t be the last! How refreshing to find a genuine, friendly welcome and service; great food at good value in unpretentious surroundings. Can’t praise them enough! All four of us were impressed with our meals and the value.

The menu changes every day but you can trust everything's ng will be great. The fact they change up the menu so often based on what they can get fresh locally shows how talented the chefs are. Leave room for drinks and desert after dinner! This is a great place to have a great dinner with no rush. Enjoy!

A really friend pub with the full selection of Harvey's beers. Lovely food, warm and cosy. One of my favourites 😁
