Went for a meal Squid was nice but over priced for the portion you receive. Fillet steak was very nice perfectly cooked. Unfortunately dessert of Banoffee sundae was one of the worst desserts I've ever eaten and should be removed from the menu some dry hard to eat granola ( raisens that were hard as stone) with ice cream and two slices of banana. Stay well clear of this dessert. Otherwise everyone enjoyed their food and service was top notch.

Always a warm welcome - special thanks to Beth. Rooms are fab - beds super comfy and all spotlessly clean. Breakfast options are amazing - and service delightful. The chicken liver pate is the best I have ever tasted - and I have tasted zillions. Well done to the chef for flavour, texture and presentation. We come to stay regularly even though I live in Maidenhead! All highly recommended - not to be missed!!!

A lovely place to stay we had the signature room comfy with a great shower and you get a parking space behind the pub.
The food was fantastic and The Churchill Tap( part of the chequers) is a great starter for an evening. There is also live music on a Friday which was great, we started our weekend in Marlow here and feel we hit the jackpot

Great food and customer service. |Only issue don’t use cash and not set up and end up paying twice, although soon resolved. Great location, room nice but shower very dated and defo needs revamp. |Don’t want to take away food was really good and staff really nice and helpful.

After a warm welcome we went to our room to discover it was a double room rather than a twin room, however this was soon resolved with the offer of another room on the house. Room was very clean and presented well, beds were exceptionally comfortable.|Breakfast was fantastic and would definitely stay again.

Good location. We arrived on spec and they were able to fit us in. Service was slow, even though there weren't many people in at the time we were there. My burger wasn't hot.
Overall an unappetising experience.

Great place to sit in the early evening sun in Marlow. Really good investment benches. Pity they don’t serve local beer from the brilliant Rebellion Brewery. Still. Sometimes. Rarely. The beer might not be the most important thing. Location sun and unexpected company. That was nice. An old man who ridden there on his bike. Too old to drive a car and a woman dying to celebrate her son getting into Oxford. So we helped!.

Food was very nice, did take a bit of time for arrival, after main course, didn't really see any staff about and certainly no one came up and asked if we were ready for dessert, so we paid and got an ice cream from the ice cream parlour on the high Street.
