I had a lovely stay at the guest house. Checking in couldn't have been easier - Christina messaged me on my mobile phone on the day and gave me all the details to access my room. I loved the no-stress way I could find my key at my chosen time. The room was spacious and spotless. All the facilities were of high standard. I had booked for a one night stay while dropping my daughter at university but will certainly keep the address in mind for future times with the whole family!

I stayed this weekend at very short notice with my mum and sadly did not get to meet the owner Christina as we would have loved to thank her for such a wonderful stay! The room was spotless and very well equipped and we were left to our own devices with a well communicated step by step guide on entrance to the building and direction to B and B and parking details. We were only staying for the one night but the bed was very comfortable and slept very well considering we were next to such a major road you actually don’t hear a thing! I would thoroughly recommend this stay and would definitely come back on my next overnight stay in Plymouth. Thank you Christina and thank you for your commitment and communication in making us both feel so welcome 🙏

Took a bit of finding but is very close to the station. The room was small but had everything you could need. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, the shower was powerful and hot, lovely thick towels. Fresh modern decor. The owners have obviously spent a lot of effort and money. Breakfast was a help yourself affair in the communal kitchen which worked really well for us. Well stocked fridge, bread, eggs, croissants, jams, cereals, fresh fruit. All in all this is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. A room refresh with new teas and coffees would have been nice on day 2 but didn't detract from the stay. Yes, I would recommend.

We had three of the six rooms at One Caprera guest house, and all were spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, modern ensuites with large shower cubicle and powerful showers! A small table with two chairs and kettle, with tea/coffee/hot chocolate. All the rooms were cozy in size, as to be expected in a house conversion, with a slightly larger "master" bedroom on the top floor, all decorated to a high standard and well maintained. A decent sized smart TV with Netflix was a refreshing change from the usual disappointing hotel TV's!|Their is a family sized dining room with a large dining table, sofa and TV for communal eating, and a lovely kitchen that appeared to have quite a lot of staple items in the cupboards for those who might wish to cook their meals. We were only visiting for a funeral, and didn't use it, but it had a nice homely but modern feel to it. A private walled area outside with table and chairs provides an area for the smokers in the group, or for enjoying the gorgeous Devon air and eating in the sunshine.|Communication with Christine was fantastic, a very professional and welcoming manner. We stayed during the lockdown for our mums funeral, and Christine could not have been more helpful or understanding, while keeping with the advice surrounding the lockdown! We never met her, keys were left securely for pick up when we arrived, and the whole place was spotlessly clean on arrival! Thank you for making an exception for our stay, I will definitely be staying here again on future visits to Plymouth, the city that still holds a piece of my heart! ❤

Does not meet requirements or standard of cleanliness and quality reasonably to be expected from this type and price of guest house.|| I booked a room to stay one night and when I arrived I found the room to be in poor condition with dirty and creased creased bottom sheet. I was told 'We have had a lot of problems with the laundry as they have a lot of shortages...', also with their cleaner insisting it was clean! ||I declined their offer to provide me with a different room and officially requested a refund. I never received a formal acknowledgment of my complaint nor refund, just a text message saying '... the owner is currently away and I can't be sure of when he will return...'||I WOULD STAY CLEAR of this 'GUEST HOUSE' that in my experience, does not provide the service that is done with reasonable care and skill and ignores consumer's right for refund when they themselves are in breach of contract.

We had a big 6 week holiday booked and this accommodation was booked very early prior to arriving in the UK. I received an email from the company I used to book it that they could no longer accommodate me. I was never given an explanation. This left me scrambling and spending an hour or two late at night to try to secure some alternative accommodation. I choose Caprera for their facilities and price. I ended up having to pay a lot more. Since it was holiday season I was quite concerned I’d struggle to find something. I didn’t need this with only a few weeks to go until my huge trip.

Stayed here for a couple of days whilst dropping our son, and despite only being a guest house, the manager treated us like royalty! Nothing was too much trouble. The owner was rude in his ignorance and if it wasn’t for the care we received from the worn out lady in charge of the reigns we’d never return.||The manager is the asset that every owner can be proud of.||She is even made sure to provide gluten free items for my partner even though we were bed only. These small touches stick in your mind and make you want to return happily over again.

Stayed for one night after a late cancellation. Christina took me in last minute and was extremely helpful. The place is almost literally a stone's throw from the train station and was spacious, clean and had all the facilities you need. Special mention to Christina who really went above and beyond to help me in tricky circumstances when few would have done so. A really fantastic woman who made my stay memorable.
