Wonderfully quiet site, the owners are so helpful and on hand for any queries or assistance.|There is direct access to the river if you have kayaks /paddleboards which was great.|The toilet block was spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water in the showers.|It is situated within walking distance of a village pub serving food and plenty of walking / cycling tracks on the doorstep.|Would definatley recommend and look forward to going back in the near future.

A lovely location in the picturesque village of Hemingford Abbots. We stayed in a static river view van which was spotlessly clean. The owners are on site and available if needed which was good. The fishing in the river (one of the reasons we chose this site) was disappointing, there was not really any fish in there to catch! The site is very quiet and relaxing, and some of the other people who had paid for the whole season, friendly and welcoming. There are some books and dvds to use, also some nice walks, we went to Houghton (15 mins walk), and hired a boat, there is a small locally run shop there too. We also went to The Cock pub in Hemingford Grey (also a nice 15 minute walk) and the food was lovely. There is also a pub down the road if you don't fancy the walk! There was no decking on the vans but a grassy area near the river to sit out and folding chairs to use outside were provided, perhaps a small outside table would also be nice to then be able to eat outside too. A couple of suggestions (not criticisms) would be a shelf in the shower and a few hooks around the van (eg backs of doors). Bedding and towels are not provided which is obviously Covid related, but as now most other accommodation types do provide them perhaps this could be reconsidered, or certainly made an option for the customer to choose. A nice stay with a relaxing feel, but also places to visit around and about too.

This is our first season on a seasonal pitch here at quiet waters. We have been really welcomed by Linda and Tony whom keep this site immaculately clean. The on site toilet /shower block is always spotless, and hot water is always on tap.
Quiet waters is exactly how to market this site, the managers take great pride in maintaining this.
The static caravans are well equipped, extremely clean and are in great positions to access the river.
The local areas have great pubs, fabulous walks and cycle routes .
Thank you Linda and Tony for making this place a great site and allowing us to chill in a fabulous place.

Had a lovely stay here for three nights. Very quiet place, grounds are kept in good condition, facilities are very clean E.G. toilets and shower block. Very friendly owners. There's a pub 2 minutes walk from entrance that do food. I did hear that next year it might be a residential site as part of it is already so best to check if thinking of going next year. Nice drive into St. Ives or walk along the river and through fields.

This was our third stay at the site in a static caravan, and it never disappoints! The statics are clean, the owners are friendly and the views from the river view caravans are beautiful. It’s heavenly sitting watching the wildlife on river at dusk, with a nice glass of wine. The site is close to some lovely walks through the villages. We will definitely visit next year!

Had a really enjoyable week here in a caravan overlooking the river. I first visited this site around 50 years ago -- it was well run then and is still ,all these years later, as good as ever. I hope to return in July next year. The site is in a really picturesque area of the country with St Ives within walking distance. It is well worth the journey south from Scotland where I live.

This was our first visit to quiet waters with our touring caravan and we have had a great time. It's not a big site and has static caravans, mobile homes and seasonal pitches, but a few pitches for tourers. The facilities and grounds are spotless and the owners work very hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our pitch had electricity and we were close to toilets and showers. Freshly water was available only a few meters away.|There is direct access to the river from this site with a landing for boats too, most summers they also rent out small boats.|Located in Hemingford Abbotts you are situated within walking distance to Hemingford Grey, St. Ives and Houghton Mills. The local pub has a good beer garden, but presently due to covid a limited menu. There are many take-aways who will deliver and so will Tesco if you're looking for a home delivery of shopping.|We will definitely return to this site again.

This is our first season on this site. We absolutely love it here, it is what it is quiet, immaculately clean static caravans and toilet block facilities.||The owners keep this site pristine, and make sure that everybody that stays here, have a relaxing , enjoyable time. There are so many lovely walks, cycle rides and quaint village pubs to explore within very short distances from the site. Thankyou quiet waters owners, for making us very welcome and doing such a great job to keep this site so tranquil and an enjoyable place to stay
