Lodge was well kept and well furnished. Hot tub was checked daily.
Only issue was, on arrival, the decking at the back of the lodge where the hot tub was situated had not been cleaned but this was rectified by the next day.
Peaceful spot.

We enjoyed our stay here! Lovely and clean inside and lots of equipment provided. One thing I would say is the hot tub is very open on the front of the lodge so you don’t get any privacy at all and you can see everybody else on the front in their hot tubs! Also the beds were really hard and we both had back ache by the end of the 3 nights. Overall lovely stay not sure we would return here.

This was a lovely relaxing break, when we arrived the lights were on it felt very welcoming, the accommodation was very clean, and there was a good selection of cuttlery, the hot tub was set to a lovely warm temperature, their was only one very small criticism and that was in the email you are told the hot tub gets checked twice a day. Which is great But at 2.30 for two days we never went in because of the impending check between 2.30 and 4pm only for these checks not to take place, which feels like wasted time, nipped in reception before leaving the staff were very friendly. So thanks for a lovely break highly recommended, but don't take my word for it, experience it for yourself.

We went on a midweek break at ranksborough Hall, and I got to say its one of the best places for relaxing and quietness. The staff are so friendly but not intrusive. The lodges look so clean they could he new. The hottub was superb and we didn't even get out when the heavens opened, there checked daily too. All in all I would highly recommend this place as we booked again as soon as we got home. 5 star across the board for us.

Stayed at the lodge park very nice well looked after, was a power cut that lasted about 1-2hr and a burst water main which effected water pressure for a few hrs.

Not much for kids on site local area has parks and theme parks not to far away. It's good for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed for 3 nights which was the minimum but wished we stayed longer. It was absolutely amazing and just what we needed. The lodge was clean, and tidy. They provided sufficient information on what is provided by them and what we need to bring with us. Aldi and Lidl were close by, less than 3 miles away. The hot tub was cleaned twice a day (without disrutping us) and as we were leaving, they drained all the water from the tub. The tub is based on the front of the lodge so there is little privacy however, we didn't mind and the other guests were friendly.

Couple of negatives: we had a bit of trouble trying to figure out how the washer dryer worked but it was fine, a brief hand out would have helped.

There was also no mop for us to use in the kitchen and bathroom.

There were too many lights in the lodge so we were confused! Also, the light switches of the bathroom were outside.

There was no contact between main reception and guests, which suited us and they were only a call away.

Our original lodge had a leak and they called us extremely late (on the day of check in and when we were 20 mins away around 4pm). They did place us on the same site, like for like so we were glad of that. Leaks and damages happen so we weren't too fussed. They were pleasant, apologetic and emailed everything over soon as the conversation was over.

Overall, we had a lovely stay and we would definitely return. Both my teens loved the lodge, the environment and hot tub!

Glendale, a nice enough 2 bedroom lodge. Main bedroom needs a king bed. Lots of storage maybe to much for just a holiday rental.... All lodges a little on top of each other with exposed hot tub. Well kept site and very quiet.
