A lovely, well run business with a well kept course (more than playable through winter), brilliant driving range and friendly atmosphere.

The course itself is well maintained throughout, has brilliant drainage and is being constantly improved.

The range has plenty of bays with a free tracer and bar to hand, it is a weekly visit for me. It also has 2 premium bays, which I must say are the best I’ve used in Northamptonshire.

The range also welcomes young ones, I often bring my two boys (8 & 13) who are now both getting into golf.

My favourite course in Northamptonshire, well run (all the staff are brilliant) and very reasonably priced, bringing golf to the masses!

Just been to the driving range for the first time and the chap running everything could not have been more welcoming. He talked me through using Trackman and the app, checked in with me later, and was friendly on leaving. The trackman system and app are amazing. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely love this place. Lovely golf course and friendly accomodating staff (especially Karen and Amelia) who go above and beyond. Knowledgeable guys in the pro shop and nothing seems too much trouble. My only negative (if this is a negative) no breakfasts on a Sunday morning, but a small sacrifice to make for such a well looked course.

I play the course a couple of times a week and really enjoy playing at Pytchley. The winter mats are the best I have played.

The course held up very well over the winter and the drainage work on the 3rd is further evidence of the owners being prepared to invest in the course. Lots of little extra touches such as additional ball cleaning machines etc.

The staff are super friendly and happy to help. Food is great too. All round a great set up.

Went for the first time today as a family of four with two young kids. Staff are really welcoming and helpful (we are complete newbies). Seems to be a very relaxed club, nice atmosphere. We’ll be back!

A lovely place with everything you need (usually). So friendly chatty welcome staff is always a positive, especially as a visitor. The driving range well equipped with bar service, Trackman and great views. There are 20+ bays with an additional reservation lounge, if i was in the area longer, may have explored this option, as it was i just needed to loosen up after a 2 hour drive so opted to hit 100 balls (£9.50) before my round.
Having hit all the balls and in need of a drink, i opted for the bar, relatively well stocked, there is something for everyone, i even ordered the breakfast bap and chips (didnt need the chips), bap was plenty. The course, as i remembered it, realtively open, limited chances of loosing a ball, and ideal for a mid to high handycap. Found more balls than i lost (didn't loose any). The fairways and rough all well presented, bunkers (not that i used many of these) were generally ok, a little hard and not enough sand around the edges. The greens, mainly impossible to get your ball to sit on, so rolling up was the best option (for most holes). The greens themselves, some challenging places pins, but the biggest battle were their condition, i wouldnt say it was hl"hit and hope" but if you were lucky enough to not have a bald patch on your line, then there were other objects and marks to frustrate any golfer.
The price at the weekend for 18 holes was £20, its not gonna break the bank, but considering the green conditions, this could be a little steep. Returning sunday for another round, jeen to experience the breakfast bap again, was told that the chef doesnt like serving food on a sunday, so had to settle for a bag of crisps, shame.
Would i come back, hell yeah, i love the game and its a ln opportunity to get away and play with my mates. Heres to next year ⛳️
