Had the best weekend, was treat like family, home from home, beautiful view, very clean and comfortable. Had the nicest breakfast freshly cooked every morning. The owners husband even fixed my windscreen wipers for me. Could not have stayed in a bed b and b.

Actually… we didn’t get to stay there yet. Expedia messed up big time and allowed my niece and I to book a stay with Deirdre and she was actually away on vacation. We showed up at 8 pm at night and had now where to stay thanks to Expedia. A nice gentleman was able to track her down and she was able to phone and set us up at another accommodation. I had read reviews about her and thought she sounded wonderful. Now we know first hand. What a wonderful helpful lady to get us out of a very stressful situation. What an amazing town and views. I can’t wait to go back and stay there for real. She and the people in the town made us feel so special and welcomed. I would recommend this place and Dierdre to anyone who really wants to feel what a Northern Ireland community is exactly what one would imagine. Thank you so much Dierdre!!!

This B&B was easily found - opposite St. James's Church.||||The owner met me and showed me to my room - which she upgraded from my reserved "single" to a family ensuite room.||The beds were comfortable and my bedding sufficient and clean. The B&B was in a very quiet, residential, area and the room's double glazing added to its tranquillity.||The Ensuite had an electric shower, wash-hand basin and toilet; it was quite small - but serviceable. A large screen LCD TV was provided.||||I was given tea & biscuits, in the lounge, on my arrival and at teatime - when I had returned from exploring Ballycastle. No teas-maid is provided in the room - but generous hospitality overcame this "issue".||Their friendly, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, made the lounge feel "homely".||||After a good nights sleep, I had a cooked breakfast and toast in the Dining Room/Kitchen. This was delicious and plentiful.||Privacy for eating was good, for a B&B, as I was the only guest for breakfast at 7:30 am.||The service was excellent, the food tasty and hygiene/cleanliness was of a high order.||||The B&B is about ten minutes, by car, from the Rathlin Island Ferry Terminal, the Harbour/Marina and the town. It is a fairly easy walk, downhill, but a strenuous one, on return. Restaurants, Pubs and supermarkets are nearby.||||Free wifi and onsite parking is provided.||||Highly recommended.

We were privileged to stay at Tara Lodge for a week in celebration of birthdays and anniversary. The house is beautifully furnished with all you could need to to ensure an enjoyable stay. The location is quiet and convenient with great restaurants within easy driving distance. If you want to cook the kitchen has everything you need to make this a good option.||||The area is stunning with a fabulous beach just an easy 10 minute walk away and you pass a lovely coffee shop as you approach the beach.||||Country walks with lakes rivers and water falls are all within easy reach from this excellent base.||||If golf is your passion then you are in the right place with great courses on your door step literally.||||Remember there is never any bad weather on Northern Ireland's north coast, just inappropriate clothing!!!!||||Tara Lodge is a family dream accommodation; try it.

A wonderfully warm, welcoming home like comfort from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure. Beautiful room with ensuite, very comfortable bed and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended, and a brilliant central position for all that Ballycastle has to offer. The landlady is a delight and I am hoping to return in the next few months! You will not be disappointed at all!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel right at home, We were given a cuppa right away, and had a lovely chat with the owner Deirdre. Really comfortable bed, which is so important. The breakfast was great. Really just perfect. We feel as though we have known Deirdre all our lives, and felt sad when it was time to leave, but certainly with plans to return. We loved every minute spent there.

Loved place and location. Host was very helpful, parking and facilities were first class. The town was a short walk away and there are loads of bars restaurants and takeaway establishments. |We chose breakfast with the host and we weren't disappointed! Great food 👍

Beautiful place to stay, host's are the best welcoming kind and friendly, breakfast was to die for, rooms are absolutely spotless and the beds are very comfortable, a home away for home, will definitely be returning.
