We loved our 3 nights at Ard Na Tra B&B. This was the first and most comfortable B & B of our trip. Eileen was very friendly and accommodating. We had the corner room, with a separate space for our 18 month old. We were able to enjoy the peaceful, beautiful view of the ocean and the beach while the baby napped comfortably. Eileen offered recommendations for bike rentals and restaurants. The location is a quick drive from Giants Causeway, Bushmill's Distillary, the beautiful Dunluce Castle, and most importantly the Tesco for when you run out of Diapers! We also were able to easily walk to the Promenade playground and restaurants.

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days at the Ard NaTra. Eileen made us feel right at home with made-to-order breakfasts, a well-equipped room, and Internet access. The location was perfect for us - situated in a quiet neighbourhood and easily walkable into Portsteward. We so appreciated the warm and comfortable space after a day of hiking in cold, rainy, blustery weather and highly recommend a stay here. This was our first time visiting Northern Ireland. Thanks, Eileen for making our stay so memorable.

Eileen met my daughter and I at the door and welcomed us to a lovely corner room with a tremendous view of the sea. The room had a separate, adjoining nook with a twin bed that allowed for us to have a little more space, as well. Breakfast was prompt and delicious. Eileen was also quite helpful in regard to getting around Portstewart and catching the proper buses. Her hospitality made our stay in Portstewart very pleasant indeed!

We could only stay for one night in lovely Ard na Tra, but we enjoyed it very much. The room was clean and neat and had a wonderful view over the coast. Eileen was very helpful with advice, and even provided us with an early breakfast. There was a lot of helpful information about local restaurants in a folder in the room. The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood but is only a short walk from "the Prom" in Portstewart, which is nice.

Eileen went "above and beyond" to serve us and make us feel welcome. The breakfast was nourishing, varied and plentiful. A carafe of fresh water and a kettle allowed us to make tea and coffee in the room. Biscuits were also provided. The large windows gave a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance and sunsets every night. Restaurants were within easy walking distance as were the wonderful hiking trails.

My wife and I had 3 relaxing nights in the Ard Na Tra Bed & Breakfast in Portstewart at the end of July for the close of the 'Red Sails' festival.||||Eileen, the B & B owner was very welcoming and sociable and a great cook. The 'Ulster Fry' she served for breakfast was one of the best I've ever had.||||The ground floor room was very clean and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The lack of a bath in the en suite was a little bit disappointing but the shower was adequate and easily adjusted.||||The B & B's location on an elevated site a short walk from the main seafront 'Promenade' meant that we didn't have to take the car every time we wanted to go into Portstewart and didn't have to play 'hunt the parking space'!! A fantastic bonus.||||The elevated location also meant that we could walk to the end of the street and get a great view of the fireworks display that closed the festival. Another great bonus!!.||||All being well we will certainly be back next year.

Very nice B&B. Good landscape of the see. A good and rich breakfast. Ms Eileen is very kind and hospitable. The room has inside a bath, which are very clean. Eileen's home is traditional irish. Beautiful breakfast room: little but with glass windows.

The number of written instructions on the walls, though justified, might seem a little off-putting on first view, but the reception and overall hospitality could not have been more welcoming. Breakfasts, ordered the night before, offered an excellent choice and set one up perfectly for the day ahead. Rooms were comfortable, and a lounge available for lounging. The perfect place to return to after a hard day's walking along the beautiful Causeway Coast, and the perfect base to set out from the morning after.
