Visited this pub spontaneously while on holiday wanting to catch a football game on BT sports, as you do. It’s a little gem of a place with a quirky narrow corridor leading to the bar which is wood panelled. The staff were lovely and put the game on the TV specifically for us - our dog was very happy too after peanut butter biscuits and a good snooze. We met and chatted to some really lovely locals who were very welcoming and gave us some tips on where we might like to visit on our stay. Can recommend very highly!

Super hospitable pub accommodation. I arrived by bicycle, was greeted at the door and my bike was taken to be locked securely in the cellar. No food in the evening but plenty within yards of the door. I was even offered a plate and cutlery if I wanted to bring a take out back to the bar. Room was well cleaned and comfortable. A great nights stay at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

This was our second stay at this cracking little B&B/pub. Well worth the journey, excellent value for money and one of the best Scottish Breakfasts we've ever had. ||||Forget the diet, enjoy good home cooking at it's best while these little gems still exist, Rooms are clean, good value for money and functional. We booked here to stay for a couple nights. Room was filthy bed had been slept in sheets not changed , carpet was filthy had definitely not been hoovered in a long time . Bathroom left a lot to be desired shower tray was filthy with hairs still in the drain , and the sink had hairs in it as well . The toilet bowl well I won’t go there I felt fiscally sick . Supposed to be bed breakfast no they told us there was a coop up the road and they did rolls . Went back downstairs and demanded our deposit back . It wasn’t even worth the one star I gave it

We were welcomed with open arms - could not have been more hospitable and the food, lunch on Saturday in the back garden and breakfast on Sunday morning was wonderful - too much!! There was 6 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, so much so, that we have booked for next year. Thank you to you both, your staff and locals that were in the bar!!

Upon recently moving to the area we are lucky enough to have this great little pub as our local. We've popped in a few times always to find friendly staff and customers, a cosy atmosphere and great pints!

Lovely place with the loveliest owners! They really go that extra mile to make you feel at home! Has a fab wee beer garden and the breakfasts were awesome! Stayed for t in the park wknd and would defenatly recommend.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in November. Andy and Jean were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The bar was busy for most of the day with locals who seemed happy to join me in with their conversations. If your staying Bed 'n' Breakfast - beware! The breakfast is HUGE! I had to ask for a cut down version on my 2nd day! Can't wait to be in the area again, so I can go back, especially in the Summer, so I can sit in the huge beer garden at the back!
