Stayed here for three nights, this was the nicest b&b I’ve ever stayed in. Comfortable and clean with everything you need. Mary is a lovely lady and very friendly. Happy to make you anything you want for breakfast, though I’m just a toast kind of person there was the option of a cooked breakfast or cereal and fruit and yogurt. Close to the train station and Tesco the location is ideal. It was a very quiet area, even the b&b is quiet, you wouldn’t know there was a house full of guests or that Mary’s granddaughter was visiting. I will definitely be using this b&b every time I visit Cupar

This is the second time I have stayed at this superb B&B...Both whilst working on the Dunhill Cup at St Andrews. The lady of the house, Mary is a warm and welcoming person who will do as much as possible to make your stay enjoyable...even making breakfast at 6.30 am with one nights notice (Sorry Mary!!). ||The rooms are comfortable and clean and I can honestly say I slept like a log on all 4 nights! Would recommend this as a base for touring around Fife, and have already reserved the place for next year. ||Many thanks once again Mary!!||Mick J - Seaton Carew

We stayed at Meadowside B&B in a ground floor room for 3 nights whilst visiting relatives in the Cupar area. The room was basic but it did have tea and coffee making facilities and was clean and tidy; but there was no in-room safe and storage for clothing and kit was limited.||It was a bit irritating that there was no one home to greet / check us in on our arrival (even though we had let them know approx time of arrival) and we had to wait 15-20 minutes outside before Mary (host) arrived home.||Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as we were expecting a traditional Scottish breakfast (porridge followed by a large cooked assortment of Scottish treats) and got cornflakes and a small cooked breakfast (that was lacking traditional fare such as square sausage, black pudding, plain bread, etc.). however, Mary was happy to adjust the breakfast fare available (within reason) at our request.||Location is good with the town centre and train / bus station being a 10 minute walk from thee accommodation.||The accommodation is well priced and Mary (and her husband) were friendly and helpful.||I would stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for basic, well priced B&B style accommodation but don't expect too much.

Stayed here for one night whilst doing Coast & Castles North route. Our bikes were safely locked away in the garage for the night.

It's not too far off the route. Stayed in the twin room, which was clean and comfortable and had all facilities including a roomy bathroom. Mary was extremely helpful and even helped us out with spin drying our washing for us with no complaints.

The full Scottish breakfast was delicious and very much needed for the mileage we were to put in on that day. Would definately stay here again if in Cupar again.

We were greeted by the host and shown to our very spacious room which featured a kitchen, dining area and en-suite shower room, a real home from home. The room had its own private entrance and that coupled with the off street parking made this B and B a great choice for visiting our family in the town. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of cereals as well as the traditional full cooked breakfast freshly cooked at the time of our choosing. Within walking distance of the train station and in the shadow of a couple of supermarkets making this the perfect choice for a visit to the area.

There is a 3 star plaque above the door on Meadowside and although my 3 night stay was totally fine, I wouldn’t call it 3 star. The room was large, the beds were clean and comfy, but the en suite had no separate heat source, so was very cold unless we left the door open the whole time. The towels were changed every day, which was great, but also needed as they would never have dried in the cold bathroom! The breakfast was basic and Mary, our host, seemed thrown off by my being a being a vegetarian, so I was offered baked beans, eggs and toast. It seems strange in 2019 that any establishment wouldn’t keep some veggie sausages in the freezer. My carnivore travelling companion said that the meat sausages were not of a good quality. No extra toiletries were provided, there were 2 lots of left over shower gel and some liquid soap on the sink. We had to go out and buy shampoo, conditioner and more shower gel, with all the restrictions on toiletries on flights (and the fact that the shampoo etc we bought were only £1 a bottle) I would expect the basics to be provided by all types of b&bs, regardless of budget. Generally I would say it is a perfectly fine b&b, clean and comfy but don’t expect anything above the basic, cheap towels, cheap sausages, no toiletries, a kitchenette with 4 forks, 1 knife and no glasses other than wine glasses, a tv that can’t be watched comfortably from either bed, no information sheet in the room with breakfast times, WiFi code etc. It felt like we weren’t expected and the room wasn’t fully set up!

I stayed at Meadowside BnB for one night as I was attending an event on the Saturday evening. The room comfy and clean, with a big bathroom. The lady who I dealt with was very friendly, and cooked me a lovely breakfast on the Sunday. The location was perfect as I was out in the center of Cupar that evening.||Would certainly stay there again when I'm next in the are.

Stayed a few months ago and was very impressed. Clean spacious room and en suite, nice breakfast and excellent value for money. The reason for my visit was family illness and Mary was so very kind and sympathetic, lovely lady. Wouldn't hesitate to go back, hopefully in better circumstances.
