Gordon and Lorna are amazing hosts, nothing is a problem they always cater for your needs. Rooms are spacious, spotless and very bright. I was delighted to see hot chocolate and chocolates on the in-room coffee/ tea tray. You don't get that everywhere you go! Once you've had one of Gordon's breakfasts you'll definitely want to come back. The continental selection is amazing as well. The train station is near by with a direct link to Glasgow. In the village of Inverkip the public bus comes through, whether you're going down or up the coast it's a scenic journey.

We stayed at the Langhouse Castle Bed and Breakfast only one night, but we wish it could have been a longer stay. Gordon and Lorna, the hosts, are super friendly and helpful. Our room, with a private bathroom, and really the whole house was just amazing! And the views were spectacular! We also enjoyed a nice visit with the one other couple that was staying there at the time, from Australia. All around, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place!

We agree 100% with the other reviewer here. The Langhouse Castle B&B really is a class act - from the very warm welcome ypu receive on arrival from hosts Lorna and Gordon, to the spacious room that exceeds every expectation with a bed to die for, and with every possible need catered for in style... ...to the sumptuous breakfast with such amazing choice and produce. I could gush on forever. Make your way here without hesitation if you are looking for a base to explore Glasgow or the Lowlands, or as a stopping point on your way to / from the Highlands ...or just because you want to stay somewhere incredible (well, it IS a castle!) and have the best night's sleep ever. And enjoy watching the local sheep wandering.|Thank you, Lorna & Gordon, for a most wonderful stay.

I was part of a group that was split over several places in Inverkip; two of our group ended up arriving late to Langhouse Castle when no meal was available; the hosts drove them to a nearby food place, gave them a free bottle of wine and generally went above and beyond to settle them in after a long day's travel. Then, to cap it, the next day they ferried them to a collection point at another hotel, so they did not have to walk down the road with their bags. Wonderfully responsive service that is a rare find these days. Bravo !

Every time my partner and I have stayed at Langhouse we've have a brilliant time. Gorgeous scenery surrounding you, a wonderful sleep in well catered rooms, great location for getting to Gourock, Lunderston Bay, Greenock and beyond, with Inverkip main street just down the hill. The breakfast has to be experienced, it's outstanding and so well stocked. If you're a lover of a cooked breakfast, you're in for the treat of all treats. The hosts are warm, gregarious and incredibly accommodating. Every time we leave, we start to consider when to go back, and every other couple who has come down with us on previous visits have loved it too.

Stayed at Lang House for 15 nights ending 7 October. Absolutely fabulous!. You couldn't ask for better hosts with Gordon and Lorna. Room is beautiful with a very comfortable and warm bed. Great shower. Breakfast is amazing with a wonderful choice of cereal, fresh fruit and juice followed by the best and largest cooked breakfast. We had a lovely time and would not hesitate to return. Thank you Gordon and Lorna for making us so welcome.

Lovely hosts welcome you to a literal castle, what more can you ask for? Charming rooms, that will soon be refurbished as we were told.

Got here cold and dripping wet on a motorbike. Shown straight to the beautiful room by the wonderful host, Gordon. Lorna offered to tumble dry my clothes. Absolutely stunning!!! The bed, shower room and all the little extras like a toothbrush and well stocked tray of drinks plus wifi is amazing. An absolute gem of a place. 1000% want to come back!!!
