A simply wonderful experience. Elfik and Zuzanah looked after us beautifully. Very comfortable double bed, delicious food, good and interesting walks, tasty tastings at the nearby sustainable distillery. Nothing was too much trouble. We hope to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic B&B. Extremely comfortable with superb home cooked food. We stayed at this B&B with our son and his partner, it was are Christmas present from them. |There was a lovely couple, Elfik and Zuzana running the place, they were very welcoming and attentive. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a cosy sitting room, with a log fire. We were more or less given the run of the house. The view over the sound of Mull was stunning, it’s a great base for exploring the peninsula, and visiting the local whisky 🥃 distilleries. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Stopped here during a working week on the West Coast of Scotland. Picturesque B&B, set in an idyllic backdrop. Elfik, Zuzana and Rhonda are genial host; very accommodating to their guests. The breakfasts & evening meals are excellent, fresh and home cooked - the room was spacious, bright and immaculate, providing a great night sleep and comes with a welcoming bottle of water and tea / coffee amenities. The estate is vast and the welcome pack brings to your attention the activities on offer, including bike hire, discounted rates to visit the nearby distillery etc. Would happily stay again, in a business or leisure capacity. Bring your own alcohol as none is available; however, wines and beers can be chilled by the hosts before your meals or via an ice bucket, should you require.

My husband and I spent a week at Achnacriche, hoping to "get away from it all." From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked the right spot. Elfik and Zuzana provided everything we needed, the room was perfect, and Zuzana's food was over the top. Elfik has clearly made a point of learning everything about the area, and was a wealth of knowledge on what to see, and where to take walks, and the history of the area. We came wanting to escape, and left feeling part of their family. 5 stars are not enough!!

We stayed for three nights at Achnacriche in late August 2023 as part of our summer holiday in the Highlands. ||It is simply a lovely place for a short break. Fantastic views with some excellent walks and a delight to wander round the estate which host a lake, a church, a distillery and some breath taking views. Hardly any people so you can really feel the natural peace and isolation that creates tranquility. A real joy.||Elfick and Suzanna are wonderful hosts; helpful without being intrusive, informative, enthusiastic||The food is lovely. Staying three nights meant we could wander across the menu and sample everything we fancied. Main courses were all excellent, puddings delicious and starters whet the appetite perfectly. It would be unreasonable to pick out favourites, we’d suggest exploring.||Our room was great – comfortable and well resourced, really nice views and remarkably peaceful. It all felt cared for. Fantastic to get away to this idyll. ||The location is lovely and the fact there are so many places to walk nearby means it is one of those places when you can park the car and simply forget about it for a few days. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend this hidden Scottish Highland gem. We’d had 3 days in a beautifully comfortable, well-appointed room and the meals were so yummy we didn’t need to go anywhere else. A haven of peace and tranquility amidst spectacular land and seascapes, indoors and outside. Do visit the Nc’Nean Distillery nearby. All round lovelee…! ❤️

Our recent stay at Achnacriche exceeded all our expectations. We loved it so much we extended our stay to four nights. The house is stylishly furnished to a high standard with antique furniture and is just so warm and comfortable. The ensuite bedroom was delightful with a sea view and a very comfortable super kingsize bed. We slept so well each night. But over and above all of this was the warmth and professionalism of our hosts, Elfik and Zusana. They are exceptionally good. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious and beautifully served in the garden room. Nothing was too much trouble.|The Drimnin Estate is stunning and there are coastal and hill walks from the house. The area is home to rare wildlife such as pine martens and wild cats and we were very excited to see otters and a hen harrier on our walks. |We really could not have had a better experience. Just want to go back!

If you are looking for a cosy, relaxed, tranquil. small, hidden gem at the end of the world with warm and welcoming hosts- look no further! This B&B will give you all of that. The surroundings are one of a kind, the views are splendid, the road up to the B&B is something you've not seen before- Achnacriche makes a perfect little getaway. |Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and had a picture-book view. The bed was somewhat squeaky but very comfortable. Coffee and Tea facilities were in the room, as well as a hair dryer, multiple pillows, USB sockets, etc. etc. |We booked our dinner in advance (can highly recommend the venison burger) and enjoyed it very much. In the vicinity of the B&B there are plenty walking/hiking options, as well as a the Nc'nean Distillery (check out their hand painted bottles). We enjoyed the dining/breakfast room as it offers a lot of natural light and views in all directions. This B&B would make a great hideaway for photographers, artists, writers, composers..... It is so peaceful!
