I had the pleasure of staying at St. Leonard's Guest House in Largs, Scotland while my daughter played lacrosse for England at the National Sports Centre. From the moment I arrived, Keith, the proprietor, made me feel truly at home with his warmth and hospitality.||Breakfast at St. Leonard's is a delightful experience—starting with fresh-cut fruit and yogurt, followed by a warm, buttery croissant, and finishing with a delicious, hearty British breakfast. Every morning felt like a treat!||Beyond the excellent meals, Keith was incredibly helpful in guiding me on my daily activities, leading me to an unforgettable hike to the highest point on the Isle of Cumbrae. His local knowledge added so much to my trip, ensuring I made the most of my time in Largs.||The guest house itself was immaculate, and my room matched the description perfectly—plus some wonderful extras like bathrobes and slippers. The sink, kettle, and refrigerator were thoughtful touches that made my stay even more comfortable. Its location on the edge of town meant that everything was within easy walking distance, and the convenience of a grocery store right across the street was a bonus.||I cannot say enough about how fabulous my stay at St. Leonard's Guest House was. I left feeling like family, thanks to Keith's exceptional hospitality. If you're visiting Largs, this is the place to stay!||Thank you so much, Keith!

This is a beautiful guest house that is very close to the railway station and the waterfront. Ferries go to Great Cumbrae regularly where there are lovely walks and scenery. The room although small had everything you need. The shower was shared with another room but that was no problem. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, homemade bread, cooked breakfast. Keith was very welcoming and made you feel at home. Definitely would recommend.

I have had a brilliant stay at St. Leonards Guest House! My room was perfectly clean, comfortable with lovely decor touches and thoughtful gifts. A spacious shared shower room and toilet- both spotlessly clean (cannot stress this enough!). Breakfast was yummy with plenty of fresh produce to choose from. Exceptional fresh fruit salad.

The house is perfectly located near the town centre, train station and the Largs bay....and let's not forget the well manicured front garden with its zen like feel and lovely flowers....such a joy.
Top of tops marks to Keith, Leah and the team, for their warm hospitality, friendliness and help. I had a brilliant and relaxing time. Can't rate this guest house high enough, really.

Many many thanks to you all, Gabriela 🙂

A one night stay was sadly not long enough! A wonderful place with the most welcoming hosts - Keith was even kind enough to drop us at our friend's wedding! Breakfast is absolutely incredible. One of the best places we've stayed - would 100% recommend.

We first stayed at St Leonard’s in May 2023 and last weekend was our 4th visit to this pretty special Guest House. I’m sure Keith and Leah took over in the summer of 2019 and the fact that practically every review is 5⭐️ speaks for itself. A lovely, genuine couple who can’t do enough for you in order to make sure you have a lovely stay.||I think there are 5 rooms and the majority are en-suite. The communal toilet and separate walk in shower room provided for non en-suite rooms are really well done and I’ve provided some pictures to show that. The rooms themselves are spotless and very nicely decorated and comfortable. ||The location is only a 10 minute walk from the train station and shops and 15 minutes from the small port from where you can get the ferry to Millport. Got to add that our favourite Wetherspoon’s, The Paddle Steamer sits here as well. What a place to sit and watch the ferry’s coming and going and only just over £6 for a pint of lager and a pint of cider, well what’s not to like about that. 🤷‍♂️||We highly recommend St Leonard’s Guest House as you won’t find many better up the beautiful west coast of Ayrshire. 👌

Just back from a short stay. Keith and Leah went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable, can't list all the added extras as there was too many to mention. Great value for money and the breakfast was substantial and catered for every diet. Location is ideal and when I'm back in Largs this would be my my first choice destination. Congratulations Keith and Leah you make fantastic hosts. Xxx

Couldn't fault Keith & Leah as hosts. They were very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our short stay the best that they could (even offering advice on eateries, services and possible walks for our trip once we transferred to the islands)! The hotel was spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful and considerate touches: including dressing gowns, bottled water, mini fridge (with cold milk and water), make up remover etc. The breakfast was fantastic. The only fault we could possibly mention was the slight noise: from the mini fridge & the early morning traffic. But, ear plugs were provided (and gratefully used) and the great location of the hotel meant that there was a main road and a Morrisons near by.

My cousin and I stayed at Saint Leonards Guest House in Largs and we were treated like Queens! We parked at the back and were escorted to our cozy, well decorated room. Our host gave us tips on where to wander and suggested where to eat. He then served us a FULL BREAKFAST the next morning, as it was included in the booking price, so definitely the best value in Largs. I would highly recommend this Guest House since it is well organized and in a very central location. You can walk from the train station if you choose not to drive. Thank you again for your outstanding hospitality!!
