Had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
The cottage is beautiful with lots of lovely plants and birds all around the garden. The interior was cosy and mostly clean except for some grime on a bedside table. The bed was comfy and there was a selection of board games and DVDs. It was dog friendly with hard floors throughout.
Found working the hot tub a little difficult as it takes a long time to heat up and you need to be there to keep an eye on the fire. We really only got proper use out of it on one occasion as most days we were out exploring and by the time we got back it took too long to heat up.
The location was good, we were a short drive away from the ferry to Lismore which we took advantage of and made a day walking around the island followed by a lovely dinner at the pier house seafood restaurant. Another day we went for a hike up Ben Nevis and there are plenty of amenities at Fort William about 40 minutes away. There is a sweet garden center out the back of the property, there are chickens and a cute cat that wander around also.

Stunning cottage, perfect location. It's incredible how beautiful this area is. Well, worth a visit, just wished we could have stayed longer. We are definitely going to visit again as so much to explore. Located between Oban and Fort William, which are my 2 favourite spots. As a child, we visited Scotland a lot. It was lovely to now be able to bring back my own daughter. Will hopefully be able to enjoy the same beautiful memories that I have as a child. Ps thank you for the bottle 🥂 and fresh flowers 💐. Didn't get to meet the hosts, but I love how private and peaceful this place was !

Lovely cottage tucked away in a beautiful secluded garden. The area is so breathtaking, the people so warm and welcoming, we will be sad to leave. Great wood fired hot tub which we enjoyed hugely. Area perfect for lovers of the outdoors with lots of walks for all abilities and great paddle boarding spots.

Fabulous cosy cottage -perfect base for exploring Glencoe and further afield. Fiona is an amazing host - very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Excellent standards of cleanliness and love the wood fired hot tub. Stunning setting, with lots of great walks and beautiful gardens. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful little Scottish cottage, cosy and fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath and shower.
Large garden and massive wood fired hot tub.
Lovely touch of homemade marmalade and prosecco
Fantastic base, only a few miles from Corran ferry, 30mins from Fort William, beautiful location, great pub and cafe in walking distance

The cottage was OK but the host was terrible.

The coffee and sugar provided was months old dry and was not fit for human consumption.

I was assured about broadband but was unable to download one small file over many days.

The hottub takes a long time time fill and even longer to heat.

The guestbook is out of date.
The book does not mention the one local shop that we found on the last day. Ealks in the book are blocked by fences now.

Communication with the host was hostile and difficult. I understand she had a difficult family time happeneding but there was no need for rudeness. When firelighters were left at the end of the garden a simple text to let us know would have been nice.

When its a 40mins drive to the local shop asking for more toliet roll should not be replied to like its a unreasonable request. We booked a holiday let where the basics were meant time be provided, they were not.

There are various properties with hottubs and real fires available in the Glen Coe are and we will be staying in fine of tgebother ones next time we visit.

DO NOT stay here you will regret it.

Lovely cottage & wonderful area with lots to do esp if weather good with lots to explore with something around every corner ☺☺☺ Fantastic arrival with everything ready including Hot Tub fired,flowers,wine,cake & lots more ☺☺ p.s research is a must before you arrive as you soon run out of time with lots more to see 🤔🤔🤔
