We visited the hairy coos safari as a family of 4. We all enjoyed it and it was a good experience for the kids. We also hired bike to go around the area. Overall the staff are friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely come back soon and try more activities that could suit my kids age.

We were on holiday and visited Rothiemurchus for both White water tubing with Full on Adventures and quad biking with Quad Bike Treks.
The instructors for both activities were approachable, professional,, and we were made to feel comfortable straight away.

The scenery for both activities was amazing.. We went up to the River Feshie for the tubing and on the local estate for the quad biking.

We also visited the cafe for lunch, which was excellent and bought some of the Highland Rothiemurchus Beef from the shop. Great tasting food. Great quality.

All in all, a very positive experience. We're happy to recommend it. 😀

We did the coo safari. Absolutely loved. Staff was very personable and knowledgeable. The property is impressive and beautiful. Our 2 year old giggled with excitement feeding the cows. Learned so much. Wish we had more time to do other things while we were there. Definitely recommend.

Such a great place to spend a few hours or the day! We rode horses, bottle fed calves, and enjoyed the forest sauna with a dip
In the Loch. It’s very beautiful, peaceful, and everyone was so great to work with.

We had been looking forward to the falconry experience for some time and were not disappointed. This was a two week driving/hiking trip through the Highlands. We saw beautiful scenery, met lovely people and learned a lot, but the falconry experience was one of the highlights of our trip. The birds were gorgeous: I never imagined I would ever experience an owl or an eagle on my arm. The gentleman introducing the birds was brilliantly knowledgeable and clearly loved sharing some of his insights on falconry, the habits and needs of the birds and the conservation of birds of prey. He was also a terrific entertainer with a wonderful sense of humor. We’re so glad we did this.

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to the Highland Cow safari. Getting up.close and being able to feed some of the cows was amazing. The guide Eleanor was knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. We all enjoyed this experience and would recommend to anyone

Petting, feeding and seeing the Scottish Highland Cows was one of my must do experiences when I visited Scotland. Rothiemurchus was everything and then some; I can't stop talking about our experience! I'm a travel agent and will confidently recommend this experience to all of my clients. You do need your own transportation. You meet at the triangle car park then follow the ranger to the farm. The first experience is with the younger cows: petting and feeding them. Next we walked about 200-300 yards down the road to the bulls where we fed and pet the sweetest bull. We then got back in our cars to drive a very small way up the road to the main herd. You can't pet these beauts but the back drop, photos and learning all about them was incredible. I suggest bring hand sanitizer for after feeding the cows, rain boots or boots to get some mud/farm dirt on and layers. I own the rights to my photos and do not give permission to anyone except Rothiemurchus to use my photos. If Rothiemurchus wants to use my photos, tag me and give credit.

We did a private Falconry experience for 6, and we had a great time! The guys who worked with us were fun, funny, engaging, and very informative. The birds are incredible to work with and observe. The experience was more than we expected, and did not feel touristy; we felt like welcome guests being treated to a unique experience.
