We stayed at this hotel on October 13th, and from the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. A special thanks to Sarah, who provided outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. She recognized our Platinum membership benefits and went above and beyond by helping us plan our local sightseeing route. Sarah even hand-drew a map to the nearby station, which was incredibly helpful. ||Most of the rooms have been newly renovated, and the sea-view room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable. The scent in the lobby was also pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the beach, making it very easy to access the ocean. There are plenty of attractions nearby, and we took the 50 brezeer bus tour to explore the area.||Unfortunately, due to my own reasons, we didn’t make it to Old Harry Docks, but we did visit the charming town of Swanage, which was still a fantastic experience. ||Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at the Marriott Bournemouth Hotel for 2 nights me with the family and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was satisfactory, but the highlight was definitely the stunning sea view from my room.

The food exceeded my expectations, especially the steak at dinner—it was cooked to perfection and truly delicious. The service was decent, with staff being attentive and helpful throughout my stay.

While there were a few minor areas for improvement, I would recommend this hotel for its great location and fantastic dining options.

If you are reading this review , please do yourself a favour and DO NOT visit this Marriott property especially if you are looking to celebrate anything special. We are loyal BonVoy elite customers for 10+ years now and this is the worst hotel we have ever visited and the worst ever stay we have had with Marriott. 1) There is no separate check in counter for Elite guests which is present in all other Marriott properties across the world; 2) The ladies at the reception are cold , un-inviting and the check in experience is very bland. No pleasantries and Sara/h was basically interested in finishing her standard guest check in pitch to get rid of us and did not answer any of our questions; 3) We requested for an upgrade (platinum guest) but the hotel was full so we were told we couldn’t get any (we booked the second best room available and checked on the BonVoy app and rooms of the highest grade were available so we were given false information); 4) Upon check in we saw the room had stains on the carpet, the towels, the glasses and there were no water bottles , we called the front desk 10+ times and no one answered, we then went down to complaint and were told that it will be taken care of, however nothing was taken care of , we got frustrated and went out for sightseeing instead; 5) The next day we left for the beach and came back at about 4pm to find a dirty room that was not cleaned. It is to note that even though we didn’t need to we reminded the front desk on the BonVoy app messaging feature as well to get our housekeeping done but it wasn’t till 4pm. We then called the from desk and as usual no one ever answers the call, we went down stairs to complaint and were told that the cleaning was still going on - the front desk or the housekeeping team did not even bat an eyelid at our complaint… after 30 mins an old Asian lady with a frown on her face came up to clean the room and asked us to leave otherwise she will not clean. When we told her to come back in 15 minutes she literally yelled at us and told us that she does not have the time. This was the breaking point for us as it is absolutely unacceptable for the housekeeping staff to yell at us and ask us to get out of a room that we have paid for just because they failed to do their job timely. We STILL left because we were tired at this point and knew the room will not be cleaned if we didn’t leave; 6) We then asked for the staff to cut our stay by a night and only stayed 2 nights instead of 3 as originally intended as by this point our celebratory mood had been ruined.; 7) This is an area where it rains a lot and there are NO umbrellas in the hotel even to rent. OVERALL it was clear that the staff is discontented with the hotel management and taking it out on the customers. From a customer point of view we are paying more than what we did before covid and shortage of staff / management issues should not be up for customer concession especially when we are paying more - Marriott needs to take care of their operations and this hotel does not even deserve to be a single star , forget four or five star. Continuing the horrible guest experience Marriott and the hotel did not send us the guest satisfaction survey to leave a feedback (as they are aware what a poorly managed property this is) so leaving the feedback out here and on other websites.

Highlights: the location, views, proximity to cliff lift (I’m disabled), friendly staff. ||Disappointments: tired room, disorganised staff, poor value for money. ||We stayed for 3 nights on a dog package. We checked in late and the night staff, while helpful, couldn’t answer our questions about my mobility scooter. When we got to our room (Cottage category as these are the only dog friendly ones) we were mildly disappointed. Nothing was terrible but for what we paid everything could have been less tired and 1980s. And the sink didn’t drain. These rooms are apparently the last on the refurbishment schedule - but they’re still selling them at full price. ||We had dinner in Brasserie Blanc. The menu was great and the guy who served us was friendly - but he started clearing the table before everyone had finished. Not good. Although breakfast was ‘ok’ the croissants were quite hard - Raminder should be ashamed!||Our check out experience was problematic - the woman checking us out was trying but we had multiple toing and froing with keys. ||We have fond memories of the hotel from a stay with young children years ago but wouldn’t return.

I last visited this hotel before Marriott took over, so I expected a change and it wasn't as I expected from the chain. Bit of an issue booking online but eventually got through and at a reasonable price too.|Room was well laid out and good bathroom. Art on wall complimentary to Bournemouth which is unusual for a chain property. |Breakfast is in the Brasserie Blanc and was not bad except hot food was steamed in the pans, bacon stewing in grease and scrambled eggs drying out. And I've had better croissants in a Premier Inn. |All in all not bad

Visited this charming hotel this week to celebrate the birthday of my daughter. The hotel is set high upon the cliffs of Bournemouth overlooking the sea with breathtaking views.
We stayed in the Prince William Suite room 109, the room is stunning, meticulously renovated with great high ceiling and views over the sea.
We had an incident with a shower door in the bathroom however this was dealt with promptly by the hotel management and our thanks goes out to Mark, Cyrus and Teresa and the rest of the staff who took care of us.
Overall after everything was sorted we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to enjoy the hospitality the hotel has to offer.

When we arrived check in was okay. Room not ready so went back later to get our card key. Receptionist couldn’t find us even though all the paperwork had been completed early, blamed booking.com fir not putting correct names onBooking form . Given another room as the one we were allocated was small, even though our colleagues had been allocated deluxe rooms again questions. However the room in a seperate building was light, clean and a modern bathroom. |Breakfast was standard help yourself, but the tea cups, cereal bowls were chipped yet were still put out when pointed out to the waitress. Coffee was served in a large teapot. Even though this hotel is a four star. Outside in the car park the hotel looked old and tired. Location and views were excellent though. |4 days after getting home we get a parking ticket fir the car park, even though we had paid the hotel on booking in. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again. Worst Marriott we have stayed in. Needs a complete upgrade.

It is an older building so expect some creaking from floor boards but rooms and bathrooms are well presented and laid out. Stairs everywhere. Food comes from Brasserie Blanc and dinner reservations are recommended. Parking is insanely expensive. If you can find a spot nearby overnight it would be worthwhile. Staff are friendly.
