We stayed in the Rowan Room which was one of the loveliest rooms in which we have ever stayed. The decor was vintage. There was a bay window with a table and chairs which really added to the room. The bed was beautiful. The bathroom was immaculate, large, and modern. There was a huge dresser and a small closet as well. The view is more of a town view with mountains in the distance. Breakfast is a lovely continental breakfast served to guests as they arrive for breakfast. |The bed and breakfast is located a block or two off of High Street within in an easy walking distance of restaurants, pubs, shops, and a museum. We went to the museum. It was small and charming.|We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this bed and breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Strathallan House. The room and bathroom were spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and generous. The host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the Highlands!

The other reviews say it all! Fantastic. Grantown-on-Spey provided a pleasant, two-night stop on our Scotland adventure. The Strathallan is a beautifully restored, Victorian home on a quiet side street. Isla, our host and homeowner, welcomed us and provided information about the area as well as recommendations for local restaurants. Our two ensuite guest rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable; the pleasant mix of warm period furnishings and modern comforts. Isla served a magnificent, continental breakfast and shared in friendly conversation each morning...she made Strathallan feel more like visiting family than a B&B. We met several other guests while dining who were very pleasant and shared our sentiments of Isla and her home; I only wish we could have met the rest of her family.| I can honestly say the Strathallan B&B was our favorite lodging/breakfast experience, and Isla made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this beautiful, quiet, victorian gem. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay here. Our room, pheasant, was spacious with a comfy bed, and ensuite facilities. Breakfast is served in a lovely room and are the best breakfasts in Scotland. The menu varies each day, with a choice of fresh fruit, cereal, before a cooked meal, the blueberry pancakes are definitely a good choice. Isla is the ideal host, helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Grantown on Spey is a good location to explore the Highlands and we would highly recommend a stay here.|

We stayed here for one night and thought the Strathallan was lovely. We had a friendly welcome, the house is lovingly decorated and our room was very comfortable. And the bed; rarely do I find a bed as comfortable as my own, but this one was (Rowen)! Sadly we had to leave before breakfast the next day but, thoughtfully, our host prepared a travel breakfast for us to eat in the car. We thought that was a nice touch.

Extremely comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome. We had cycled from Aberdeen and Isla was so helpful giving us a place to store our bicycles and fill our water bottles with water and ice. There were so many lovely touches, robes and slippers, plenty of toiletries and a very delicious breakfast. A great place to stay.

A wonderful lady owning a superb b&b. The rooms are amazing with a breathtaking bathroom, the breakfast fenomenal. 10/10 is the max I can give. Ayla , thé hostess reserves 15/10. Welcoming, friendly and help full. Thank you for making our stay perfect

We spent two nights here on our tour of Scotland. It is a fabulous experience. Isla, the proprietor, is welcoming and funny, and we loved our conversations with her. Everything was modern and in excellent condition and clean. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. All four of us were in love with Strathallan House.
