An outstanding B&B experience – simply the best!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this truly exceptional bed and breakfast, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the most wonderful hosts – truly world-class hospitality!

We were greeted with freshly baked scones, homemade treats, and something lovely to drink, setting the tone for a stay full of care and comfort. The attention to detail, the cozy atmosphere, and the personal touches made us feel right. Thank you so much!

We have just spent a couple of nights at the Applegrove B&B and can't rate this highly enough... The room and bathroom were both excellent with homely touches and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was as good as any we've had in 4 star hotels and Fiona the owner left us some home baked apple pie in our room on the first night along with some biscuts, chocolate bars and some soft drinks and water in the room fridge.. She was unbelievably friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her.... All in all we had a fantastic time there and will def be back...Highly recommended, Evelyn and Jock, Edinburgh,,,

Was most impressed on first entering, very cosy.my room was not en suite but was not a issue. Bathroom four steps away on landing. Not big but well laid out.|The bed was super comfy and plenty of wardrobe/ cupboard space. All the work which has been done was to a very high standard. Tea/coffee/water etc. The breakfast choice was very good with fresh fruit salad. I personally feel that the room rate should include the cooked breakfast not a supplement, but that was my only very small gripe. Theres a pub/ restaurant 400 yards down the road with steam train running three times a day next to it.

We’ve just returned home from a 3 night stay and were delighted with our accommodation. This really is a fabulous B&B - super comfy beds and an awesome breakfast served up by Fiona daily. Cannot fault it in any way - if you’re looking for a B&B in Cairngorm National Park then look no further!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. ||Seriously, we stayed one night only but we can say that this was by far the best accomodation we found during our 7 days road trip in Scotland.||The lady who runs the place is lovely and makes you feel at home immediately. The room was absolutely clean, well maintained and exactly how it is pictured. Not mentioning the taste in which is decorated. Stylish, comfy and romantic. ||You can see this lady puts her passion in what she does, money well spent!||Breakfast again was the best we had during our trip, we went for the continental option and we were served bread, cereals, fruits and berries, milk, coffee, ham, cheese and sweet rolls. During breakfast we had a lovely conversation with Fiona, the lady who runs the place, recommended us a place nearby called loch morlich, that was a nice one.||Absolutely gorgeous location, and mind blowing place to stay, even for a few days. This is actually my only regret, I loved this place to bits and I wanted to stay more!||Next time I will book more nights!

Myself and my husband spent two nights at Applegrove B&B and I can confidently say that it is one of the loveliest and cosiest places we've stayed at for a weekend away.||The host, Fiona, was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. She had just finished baking a batch of scones which she offered and kindly brought to our room with jam and butter. Our room was spotless, well decorated and although the shower cubicle is small, it has a large powerful shower which is much appreciated after a 6 hour hike in the Cairngorms!||We took our dog with us - if you bring your dog's bed and they are well behaved, they are allowed to stay. We took our own towels to wipe his paws in the porch after our walk.||Breakfast was high quality and plenty of choice available. I honestly cannot fault this B&B and would definitely stay here again if we ever get another weekend away without the kids....!!

Room was wonderfully comfortable and had every in-room amenity. I loved that it was so clean with efficient, easily accessed wi-fi. We chose the Continental breakfast which offered many choices, was plentiful and kept us going the entire day. Helpful, friendly yet unobtrusive hostess. ||Centrally located in Boat of Garten ||Book now, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely place, lovely room, spotlessly clean, owners are a lovely couple, very helpful, managed get us booked in the local golf club for a meal(last table and we'd not booked anywhere) which was delicious . Really nice breakfast and were so helpful when our car wouldn't start as we were leaving, made us drinks etc till we were sorted. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
