Very comfortable cottage, very clean, excellent shower room and bathroom. Complete with good bath towels etc.
A very generous touch was giving free logs for the stove. Our weather was so good we didn’t need to use the stove.
Very friendly hosts who offer help willingly!

Well maintained cottage excellent location for restuarants and cafes in aviemore easy walk to town along quiet cycle path even for older folk.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this property an̈d would certainly stay at silver birch again.

We have spent wonderful days in the Silver Birch Cottage. Everything was perfect, the cottage thoughtfully equipped and extremely cosy. We are looking forwards to being there again.

A very well equipped, warm and comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding area. The owner was very considerate and helpful with regards to a possible adjustment to our booking. As it was we were able to go on the holiday as planned and had a great week.

Second visit to Silver Birch this year and happy to say just as good as first time. Spotlessly clean and welcoming with some nice touches such as bottle of wine and milk in fridge. Endless supplies of logs available for fire which we made good use of on a cold winter weekend.
I have no criticism whatsoever and would definitely recommend this accommodation- we will be booking again next year.

We had another lovely break staying at Silver Birch Cottage. It's a wonderful home from home. The wood burner in the lounge is a lovely touch for when nights are cooler. The back garden is enclosed which was perfect for our two labradors. On certain days you can watch the Strathspey steam train passing by. The cottage is ideally situated for a short walk into the centre of Aviemore for a meal or shopping. Loved it. Will definitely be back.

We had a fab time at Silver Birch and had everything we needed and more. We never realised that 2 bathrooms are so useful with a 12 year old daughter! It's in a great location with close access to the path into Aviemore which is well lit at night for a stroll and a cheeky after tea ice cream. Great for the dog with a secure, enclosed garden backing straight onto the steam train line. We only stayed from Monday to Friday but we could have done with a week.
The only thing we could see as a downside is potentially the access to the driveway but really clutching at straws with that one. We were OK because there was nobody next door so it might not be an issue if there's anyone else, it just looked quite tight and awkward if there's cars on the other drive too. But that wouldn't stop us going again - we loved it.
