We wanted to find a nice place to stay where we could visit the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel and just so happened to find this guest house and thought it’s close enough (about twenty mins approx to Kelpies) but in a lovely countryside setting. ||The welcome we got was amazing with tea and coffee and home made scones and cakes. We were shown to our room which was huge and absolutely gorgeous. The bathroom was also huge and everything was spotless ||Now breakfast I have to warn you is a huge feast of cereals, fruit cocktail, full Scottish breakfast, fruit juices and probably more that I have forgotten. All of the breakfast will be cooked to your liking and we left both mornings we were there feeling stuffed. ||The garden looks out over fields and during our stay we had Grouse, robins,squirrels and sheep to keep us entertained. ||I will not spoil the surprise but little treats appeared in our room as well and these were very nice to have with our teas and coffees which we had in our room. ||Have to say Beth is a feeder and I guarantee you will not go hungry after you have your breakfast. ||I have waited a month to write this review to see if my thoughts on our stay would change and I have to say I cannot fault any one thing about Arden Country House. It is one of the best most hospitable places we have stayed. We were lucky to be only ones staying due to a booking being moved and it was so peaceful. ||It would give it six stars if I could. hank you Beth and John you made our stay

In our travels in the UK and Europe, Arden Country House remains our favorite B&B bar none. It's a beautiful facility in the Linlithgow countryside. The rooms are large and very well appointed with high quality furnishings and fixtures. Beth and John are consummate hosts: warm, intelligent and readily available to respond to any questions or requests. From the melt-in-the-mouth home-baked treats left in the room to greet us, to the astounding breakfasts served to order each morning, our stays here remain a highlight of every trip to Scotland. ||This year we travelled with another couple, who reveled in the comfort and were similarly impressed with the stay at Arden Country House as a highlight of the journey.

Wow, what a delightful 3-night stay at Arden Country House! The weather was absolutely glorious, and the hosts were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home in their charming accommodations. The cooked-to-order breakfast, enjoyed with a view of the stunning garden, was a total highlight—don’t skip the buttery, flaky croissants, they’re pure heaven! We grabbed a rental car at the airport and used this gem as our base to explore all the nearby attractions, which was super convenient. Linlithgow is such a picturesque town, and the owners were absolute stars, sharing maps for fantastic local hikes. My husband and I had the best time sharing a bottle of wine, gazing at the adorable sheep frolicking in the field next door. Pure bliss!

Absolutely Amazing - would recommend this to everyone - worth every penny.|Perfect accommodation. Spacious, clean and lovely rooms, excellent bathroom/shower.|John and Beth were fantastic, excellent hosts, helpful in every way.|Breakfast was out of this world - so many choices we didn't stay long enough to try them all, and presented so professionally. Lots of little extras and treats each day were greatly appreciated.|We were in the area to scatter my mother's ashes and also took in some tourist locations but would love to come back again without a doubt.

This is a beautiful accommodation to stay at! We stayed two nights, and the room was beautifully decorated, the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. Everything is curated for you to feel in the middle of the country side! And yet very close to the city center. The instructions are very clear and the location is amazing.

John and Beth’s Country house was beautifully presented with excellent hospitality. The room was of a high standard and so comfortable with many extra touches. The breakfast was superb with everything you could possibly want. We look forward to returning.

Didn't want to leave! ||We stayed overnight on the 29/6/24 for a friend's wedding at The Vu. Beth & John are so welcoming. We had a beautiful double bedded room at the front of their stunning home. We felt so welcome and the touches in the room - amazing tablet! Fresh milk etc. Beth gave us valuable advice on arriving at the wedding venue and we had the most outstanding breakfast the following day,it was absolutely stunning! Local produce and such a pretty display in the breakfast room & the most amazing breakfast menu! Thank you so much, an absolute treat to stay here and we would 10000% return! The location was great only a short drive to the Edinburgh but in great scenic location and not far from many great sites of interest.|The Room was a great size and bed very comfy.|Breakfast was fantastic and worth the cost of stay alone and the home cooked cookies were glorious|John & Beth Excellent Hosts and extremely helpful
