We enjoyed three nights at the Golf View in a fabulous Sea View room with a wide view across the Moray Firth.|The hotel is well maintained and comfortable throughout especially the lounge areas and bedrooms. The small lift was a bit clunky but at least the facility is available for access to the upper floor bedrooms.|Resident access to the Spa, just to use the pool, seemed to be an additional ÂŁ30 for a 2 hour session, so we decided not to bother.|Service at Hickory's restaurant was good, we ate there twice in the evening and for breakfast each morning. In the evening we elected to use the Bar menu rather than the Tasting menu. The choice was a little limited but the food was good. Breakfast menu was varied and very good.|The hotel is located directly on the West Beach near to the golf club and the gardens are very well kept.|Highly recommend this hotel for a few days in Nairn.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was lovely overlooking the sea. Very spacious and comfortable. We’d deliberately booked a room more than the basic and were very glad we did||The young local staff were great. The team that looked after the restaurant worked really hard and we’re obviously well trained ||The food was ok. The Highland breakfast was well cooked. The dinners are however no more than ok. For convenience we ate in the hotel three times with mixed experiences. ||Otherwise a lovely lovely place to stay. The views over the forth are magnificent and the overall atmosphere lovely. Really liked the lounge area and all the old golf photos. If you’re a keen golfer visiting Nairn don’t stay anywhere else

Best spa I have been to. Absolutely beautiful location and the staff were all great. Lunch was lovely and it was so nice to have a wide variety to choose from. Often on these spa days the lunch is quite poor. I had a body massage and facial treatment and the facial was the best I have had. And a bonus point for the robes. They were lovely and big so you could wrap up in them 😁 highly recommend and we will be back. Thanks

I stayed there last week with a group of 8 for a golf trip. Our stay was exceptional. The hotel is and old classic building that has been well maintained. The rooms were large and in good condition with very nice views of the Firth. The staff was pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. We had dinner one night and breakfast each morning and the food and service were very good. The location right is the water really makes this hotel special. I would definitely stay there again the next time I'm in the Highlands.

Myself and my partner booked the coast indulgence package, which included an overnight stay, breakfast and a 1hr treatment. I cannot fault our stay AT ALL ! everything was perfect ! We stayed midweek so it was quiet. The hot tub outside was the highlight ! Food was first class and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This was by far the best spa experience I have had and the cost was very reasonable considering the quality of service and facilities.

This stay was incredible. ||||The location, staff, food, spa and overall cleanliness was absolutely fantastic.||||I would highly recommend visiting this beautiful hotel.||||Sleeping was difficult as the walls are not soundproof so you could hear every word from other guests. The curtains were also not blackout so a lot of light was coming through. ||||This didn’t affect our stay in any way and we still thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

So disappointed at a recent spa break to Golf View Hotel & Spa.|We are 3 friends who have a little savings account and save up to take trips to spend time together, we had decided to have a spa break at Golf View Hotel & Sap on 12Th March for one night and booked one room which the 3 of us shared. We booked a train and we very happy about our upcoming stay at such a lovely 4-star hotel and spa. Only we left feeling very disappointed about quite a few issues.|I had received confirmation via email our spa experience would start at 2pm so we planned ahead and arrived early so we could have a nice lunch in the hotel. I understood we would not be able to check in until 3pm as it stated in the email, however when we arrived, I asked if we could do all the necessary paperwork/admin as we would be having lunch and then going to the spa and I didn’t want to have to leave the spa to come back to reception and was told no, check-in was at 3pm. I said I understood that but if there was any paperwork to complete could we do it then and again told no check-in was at 3pm. I explained about our spa experience and could we get towels/robes in the spa and was told no these are in your room, I asked how we could get them if we had not been allocated a room and was told someone from the spa will get them for you. I then asked if there was somewhere we could leave our bags only for the receptionist (a young lady) to vaguely wave behind her and say yes in the cloakroom. I didn’t see the sign and asked again where? Only to receive a rather grim glare and a pointed finger There! I have never felt so unwelcome at a hotel reception ever, and neither had my friends – we were all quite shocked. Never the less we went over to the cloakroom whilst the receptionist still sat at her desk and left our bags and went to the restaurant to get lunch. |We had a much better welcome in the bar by a lovely young lady and ordered our lunches and glasses of wine and gin, the food was fine but our white wine was definitely not chilled just a bit cool. |We rallied ourselves to go get our bags and head for the spa, and when we went to reception (a different receptionist) there were people checking in. I waited and asked if I could check-in and the lovely lady (with dark long hair) looked on the computer and then replied yes of course! We promptly got our keys and managed to collect our robes from the room. |When we got to the spa there was no-one at spa reception and had to wait for the receptionist to appear (a good few minutes) she then explained where the changing rooms were and off we went. It was lovely and clean and we found a nice place to sit, but I had done my research on your website and was looking forward to experiencing a salt room and Turkish stone steam room and fantastic shower but couldn’t find them! When we did find them, we couldn’t get in, so I went back up to the spa reception to see if a key was necessary to get in, only to find no-one at spa reception, again I waited and then when she returned, she informed me she would be down in 5 minutes to explain the facilities. By the time she came down we had 5 minutes before our appointments for massages and didn’t get the benefits from the facilities before our treatments. We were so disappointed; I had even printed off the recommended routines you have on your website so we could follow them to prepare for our treatments. Myself and my friend Isabell went off to get our massages (Drift Away) whist our friend Margaret accessed the facilities in the spa after nearly 90 minutes. My massage was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed it however when discussing it with Isabell it became very clear we had different experiences even though we booked the same treatment, I was offered body brushing before the massage and Isabell was not offered this, my therapist gave my essential oils to gently inhale before my treatment and Isabell was not offered this! Margaret had the hot stone massage and it was perfect!|We then went to our room to get changed for supper, it was not clean at all in fact I would say it was far from clean and have included photos for you to see the number of spiders’ webs hanging from the ceiling over our heads, the skirtings and in-side the windows. We were truly disappointed this is not what we were expecting of a four-star hotel and one that was quite a bit more expensive that our last spa break. We went down for supper which was fine, and then we went to our beds, we were all deflated by our experience and decided to have an early night. We got up in the morning and I made us all a cup of coffee only to find quite a few packets of coffee were rock hard in the packet, I checked the use by date which was fine but someone should surely check the teas and coffees are usable – I couldn’t get it out of the packet!|It finished up we had breakfast, again it was fine and checked out, at reception the lady (and older woman with a bob) asked if we had a nice stay and I mentioned the state of the room with spiders’ webs and she said ok I will tell housekeeping, that was it- no apology, no let me get someone to come and speak to you or take you back up to the room to investigate – nothing! We were so disappointed in Golf View!!! Definitely not 4 star!!

I booked the Drift Away massage and a Glow facial, and from the moment the treatment began, I knew I was in good hands. Sarah was incredibly professional , she immediately put me at ease, and by the end of the session, my back pain had completely vanished. As for the facial, my skin has never felt so hydrated or looked so radiant. I truly left feeling renewed, relaxed, and glowing , all thanks to Sarah.||Highly, highly recommended.
