This is our first tme visiting Inverness. I booked two rooms for me, wife and daughter. I was lucky to have the limited hotel parking space which is free. This hotel is situated in a slightly quiet area but yet only 5 min walk to the main city centre after crossing the bridge. Breakfast is good typical full English albeit one has to order for a toast. The room is very clean with sizeable double bed which can be split. Although no aircon, an electric fan was provided which is a blessing during hot summer period. The hotel is very accessible within 5 minutes walking distance to the nearby supermarket, takeaways and restaurants. I also thoroughly enjoyed a generous portion of battered haddock and chips from the hotel restaurant. Staff are very friendly and informative. We also enjoyed using the fitness centre which has swimming pool, jaccuzzi, steam room and suana. Towels were provided and one needs a pound coin to use a locker. This fitness centre however can be quite crowded. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the stay at BW in Inverness and thoroughly recommended.

I booked this by telephone because we needed a disabled parking space. The gentleman I spoke to could not have been more helpful. Although they could not 100% guarantee the space ( limited parking for all vehicles there). It was on record and we did not have a problem.|Our room was pleasant over looking the river/ castle, it was a bit hot but there was a tower fan in the room. The TV did not work properly, once reported was replaced the following day very promptly.|The leisure centre facilities were available to guests, included the pool, steam room , sauna and jacuzzi. Spotlessly clean, a pleasure to use.|Breakfast was a bit chaotic, staff did not seem to know how to fill the coffee machine. They ask if you want toast before you sit down. they did not fill up the hot food on our last day either. that was the only down side to a very pleasent stay.

Stayed recently at the Palace Hotel Inverness. Unfortunately, the food and service in the restaurant were a real disappointment.||Breakfast was especially frustrating. Despite the dining room being quiet, we waited around 30 minutes for toast and coffee. When it finally arrived (at a second request), the toast was burnt and there wasn’t enough for two. We seemed to become invisible at this point, so no further toast was possible.||The buffet was limited, and the vegetarian sausages were genuinely unpleasant—strange texture and very little flavour.||Dinner was better, but still had its issues. Three of our group ordered the fish dish and all found it inedible. We raised this with staff, who apologised, but no alternative was offered, which was disappointing.|Dessert didn’t improve things—the fruit crumble might have been okay, but the custard tasted so artificial I couldn’t eat it.||On a more positive note, the hotel does have a nice swimming pool, which, although small, was clean and well-maintained. The room was comfortable enough, but could have been better equipped. For a hotel in this price range, you’d expect basics like conditioner, a shower cap, and a bit more attention to detail.||Overall, while there were a few positives, the poor dining experience and lack of basic amenities made the stay less enjoyable than it should have been.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Best Western Inverness Palace Hotel and Spa. We were staying at a neighboring hotel that was terrible in everyway. We stayed one night there and walked to Palace Hotel and spoke with Patrick about the issues we were having with the other property. Fortunately, they had availability and Patrick assured us that they would have a nice room available in the afternoon. True to his word, the room was wonderful. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and very quite. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Great location also. Very pleased!

We stayed here for one night when attending a family event. The hotel has had an extensive refurbishment and enjoys a prime location in the City of Inverness overlooking the River Ness. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and found all the staff to be helpful and efficient. Our room, an upgraded river view, was delightful with everything we needed for our stay. ||We did not have dinner but enjoyed a fine breakfast before leaving the following morning. The dining room was busy in the morning, there were a couple of tours staying over, but the staff were working hard to ensure that everyone was served prompt and efficiently. There was a plentiful supply of food at the buffet tables.||The car park is small but there are plenty of spaces at the nearby public car park when parking charges are minimal.||The friendly, helpful and efficient staff in this hotel are a great asset; well done team!||We would stay here again, a very positive experience.

This hotel is higher priced, but is packed with a lot of amenities!! The breakfast was the best on our Scotland adventure! The front desk folks were kind, and very attentive!

The only thing I wish the hotel had was more parking. However, this is not a complaint. The staff accommodated our car even when the parking lot was full!

We had a wonderful stay!!

The location is good where you can see the Inverness Castle across the River Ness. There is no air conditioning, but you can request a fan. There is no refrigerator, but you can get a small to be delivered to your room.|There were two Roberts in our travel group. The front desk lady got us mixed up so I got the wrong room(312). I was supposed to get the room on the 4th floor(403) but I got one on the third floor.( - minus one point). The floors were very squeaky so you heard every steps. (-minus one point). You were greeted at the front of the restaurant for breakfast. I was asked if I wanted coffee and or tea. I said coffee. I never got my coffee so I went and asked for coffee. The heavy-set lady gave a snarly look and told me that the coffee was made in the kitchen, and it will come when it is ready. ( - 1 point).|The breakfast choices were okay. I had better options and quality elsewhere

Great staff, every member of staff was so friendly and helpful with any requests etc. room was a decent size and clean and comfy bed. Great central location right on the river. Only fault would be the coffee machine wasnt working first day so didn't get our morning latte but that's literally not picking as it was working the next day and we still got a normal coffee at the table. Breakfast was decent, could be slightly warmer but still has heat.

Sauna and swimming pool was great, not too busy so ideal size.

Cleaning staff we passed numerous times and lovely girls, nice and friendly just like the rest of the staff and the hotel is immaculate throughout!!

Will be staying again next time we are on the mainland 😁
