Exceptional in every way. Staff here are incredible - nothing is too much trouble. Sally and the breakfast team are so helpful and friendly. I asked for a large cup for my tea and then every morning afterwards there was a large cup waiting for me - wonderful customer service. |The whole team, in all departments are so welcoming. |Food in the restaurant was excellent and good value. |Health club - gym and pool - were also excellent. |Last but not least is the location and view of the River Tay. Just breathtaking. |Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had a great stay here recently. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. Might want to include a little warning on the shower gel, it was one that made the skin a bit tingly… not nice in some places!! The pool was well maintained and we enjoyed use of the sauna and steam room. The breakfast was lovely. We also ate at the restaurant which was nice but we had to ask several times for a couple things (menus, forgotten cutlery, missed drink) which wasn’t ideal. Overall a good stay that we’d recommend to others.

We recently returned from a 12 day trip around Scotland, which included a three nights stay at the Dunkeld. It was a busy itinerary with lots of driving and sightseeing, a three day stay near the end of our journey was just what the doctor ordered arriving at this magnificent estate hotel. ||We knew that we were going to enjoy this stay immediately Welcomed warmly with a wee dram, we had a fabulous room facing the front of the hotel and a partial view of a small river that runs past the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, in particular David at the bar who looked after us throughout my our stay and Domenic, our server in the restaurant who looked after us on our first night extremely well. The next day when he ran into us in town, he greeted us like long lost friends and made us feel very welcome. ||The breakfast was always spectacular and even though there was a wedding for the large number of guests the first day we were there the staff handled it well and we didn’t feel rushed or crowded or stay at this lovely hotel was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip in Scotland.

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding meal at Dunkeld Hotel and staying the night in one of their honeymoon suites — and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect.

The food was absolutely beautiful, with every dish presented and prepared to the highest standard. The staff went above and beyond — so friendly, kind, and attentive, making us feel incredibly special on such an important day.

Our honeymoon suite was stunning: spacious, luxurious, and the perfect place to unwind and take in the magic of the day.

We genuinely couldn’t have picked a better place. Dunkeld Hotel will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to returning time and again to relive these wonderful memories.

A huge thank you to all the staff for making our day so special — your warmth and care meant the world to us.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly special setting, whether for a wedding, a romantic stay, or simply a memorable meal.

Very welcoming with fantastic surroundings. Very busy with bus tours who had a tendency to take over at times. Book you dinner table in advance. |Do not book a room at the front in good weather as the outside bar tables are below you and guests have loud voices the more they drink!|Beautiful walk into the town and the surrounding area so easy to relax in the atmosphere.

A very well situated hotel in extensive grounds, adjacent to the River Tweed. Our room was modern, clean and functional, but on the small side and overlooking the rear car park. The beds were comfortable. It’s standard these days for shower gel and shampoo to be in wall-mounted dispensers and that’s fine but on this occasion the gel dispenser didn’t work. ||A small issue: the bath towels were on a high rack above the bath which my wife couldn’t reach!||Dinner was efficiently served but not particularly flavoursome; one of us had an halloumi burger, which had a very small piece of halloumi and was served with an oversized portion of fries. ||Breakfast was better, with a wide choice.||There was a spa and gym which we didn’t get chance to use because it didn’t open until 7am and was too late for our departure.

Staff excellent but room for improvement with appropriate leadership.
Didn't see senior management coming around meeting patrons. This would be a bonus or boost to their staff.
Breakfast well presented and staff pleasant and informative. Dining room spacious and well appointed. Staff credit to hotel pleasant, knowledgeable and time for guests.
Dinner average and ample portions.
Overall very enjoyable experience.
Biggest disappointment was Dunkeld nearly every other shop outlet closed. The river walk was Awesome and old cathedral excellent.

Really good well run hotel. Courteous staff, lovely food and beautiful location. We had welcoming chocolates in our room as it was our wedding anniversary which was a nice touch. Visited before and this trip did not disappoint
