The stay was great I arrived around 9ish at night and was greeted by a guy that was polite and helpful. I went up stairs in the lift to my room. I entered, it was a good size and had a bath tube and shower. I used the bath which was very clean. The bed was clean and the room was spacious. I had a great sleep. The next morning, just after 7am I went down stairs and greeted by a lovely women. She showed me where everything is and said I can sit in the bar area which I wanted to. The food was great and the coffee was well needed. I only stayed the one night for work. I checked out and the young women, at the desk was polite and friendly, all the staff were polite and helpful.

We stopped overnight because we had a long drive back home to Orkney. Rooms were excellent clean and tidy. my mum was staying in a accessible room the room was spacious and all the facilities for someone with mobility issues. our room was the same spacious bed so comfortable. The staff were so friendly,helpful and welcoming. the only fault I had was the exterior of the hoel could do with some TLC but that didn't spoil our stay. would definitely stop again if ever in the area.

Family room was sparce. Looked initially like two camp beds in an empty room. The double bed was hidden behind a wall. It was comfy but camp beds tipped over. Nowhere to store clothes so lived out of cases. Extractor fan didn't work in bathroom. Only two plug sockets but no where near beds. Bathroom getting damp. Only one window opened out of four. Porridge at breakfast would cost 90p in Tesco. No healthy options such as fruit or yoghurt. Pancakes were American but we Scots make great small pancakes so why not them. Went elsewhere for breakfast rest of week. Did as a stop over but wouldn't go back for the price paid. Bit of a rip off for four walls, a bed and two camp beds.

Paid £155 for a room that’s usually £39 a night because there was a local event on, to be fair I feel robbed, the receptionist was lovely and tried her best to accommodate us, the out side of the hotel looked like a run down prison block, got to the rooms and honestly if you had replaced the double bed with bunk beds I would have sworn I was In the jail cell. Not very relaxing nor welcoming at all.
We had to even check our room for bedbugs it was so outdated and behind the bed was disgustingly dusty. The main room
Light didn’t work, tv tiny, poor ventilation, no air conditioning, internet poor, very very very basic of rooms. Breakfast was ok but terrible selection, feel bad I even paid more just to have breakfast. So total
Cost of our hotel stay with breakfast came to £190 . For that price I would have expected way more, very very disappointing!!!! £14 for a cider and vodka n coke is just ridiculous.
Place needs a serious upgrade or knocked down and rebuilt would be far easier. Feel
Bad for the staff they try their best in a bad situation.

Breakfast was awful gave me a sore belly.half the time no one was at the reception. Needed to ask for a clean table as they had all be used.shower pressure wasn’t great the shower was going warm then freezing warm then freezing. Room was too hot. Bed was comfy tho

The hotel was horrendously expensive for what it was. Budget hotel at expensive prices. It was however Dundee University graduation week, so no room at the inn. The bed was two singles together normally I have no objection but it was really obvious in bed. Either different heights or wear pattern.
If anywhere equivalent were available, I would not return.

Needs a lick of paint. Room was clean, with a comfy bed. Very noisy both from inside and outside. Unfortunately the restaurant was shut unexpectedly due to staff shortage. Not much to eat, see or do within walking distance. Free parking. Might splurge on a premier inn next time.

Had to wait a little while at the desk to check in, but honestly no big deal, the staff member that checked me in was very friendly and helpful.

The room was great, I don't know why people are complaining, they are clean and comfortable.
