We found Craighall Steading after doing an internet search looking for accommodation whilst attending a nearby wedding. I am so glad we booked here. We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful and tranquil location. |The accommodation itself is beautiful and our bedroom was comfortable, modern and most importantly, spotless. It had everything you could want or need. A comfortable bed, fluffy gowns, tea, coffee and the most delicious homemade shortbread. The best I have ever tasted. |Our room had a courtyard but unfortunately due to the Scottish weather we were not able to sit out but I just know it would be a lovely relaxing spot. |Breakfast just added to what was a great stay. Freshly cooked to order in front of us. This was in addition to various fruit juices, yogurt, cereals and home grown fruit. |All this being said, what made this stay are the owners. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. |Will definitely stay again.

Craighall Steading is a hidden gem, tucked away in the quiet countryside down a private road, but still only 13 minutes drive to St Andrew’s and walkable to the town in Ceres. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is the best in Scotland. The rooms are very clean and decorated with Scottish made items but free from clutter. There is a wonderful hiking path around the property that is nice area to explore. I also appreciate all the sustainability efforts they have made. It is such a special place and we will for sure be returning.

Loved our stay here, Caroline and Dave were great. Amazing to see a sustainable build like this. Stayed in the courtyard view room and we were delighted, everything is well thought out - usb sockets at either side of the bed a perfect example! Can’t fault anything at all, bed and bedding very comfy and thought there were so many nice touches about the place (right down to the shortbread in the room) Breakfast was amazing too, we will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our welcoming and friendly hosts. Room was well appointed and very comfortable with many nice touches including treats for our dogs. Breakfast was delicious with produce from their own garden included along with other local produce. This establishment is very focused on sustainability delivering high quality accommodation with a low environmental impact and all in a beautiful quiet location as well.

Craighall Steading is in a beautiful location and the accommodation is extremely well thought out. Dave and Caroline gave me a lovely welcome and some information about the local area…… breakfast was delicious with some great touches (home made smoothie and perfect stress free poached eggs!)|My dog was also made properly welcome, treats, dog towel and mat were provided which made me feel he wasn’t just tolerated but an important guest! |I only stated one. Light but with all this, lovely walks on the doorstep and the tranquility of the place I’ll be back

We had a wonderful stay of two nights. Such a beautiful garden and a modern spacious room with huge windows overlooking the amazing countryside. |Our hosts were providing us with great tips and delicious breakfasts with local products. We had a wonderful time and can‘t recommend it enough!||Looking forward to visit again in the future 😃

Caroline and Dave were perfect hosts. Views amazing due to the remoteness of the location. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Room modern and spotless with fantastic views. Plenty of surrounding walks on your doorstep.|Highly recommend
