A beautiful Country House, in delightful surroundings. James and Emily were the perfect hosts. We were made to feel very comfortable.||The rooms were very well decorated, they were comfortable, with lovely views and facilities.||A varied breakfast menu. The evening meal was great, the food was cooked by James to a very high standard. ||A very knowledgeable young waitress Freya. Great hospitality.||A lovely few days stay. Spent 2 night at this old manse, converted to a lovely country house.|James and Emily were perfect hosts. |The accommodation was clean and comfortable and food served, both dinner and breakfast were of a very high standard. The small bar meant no need to venture out at night, although the The Clachan Hotel is 20 minute walk option, with nice lockside views.|Prices for accommodation, meals and drinks, all very good.

A really nice stay for me and my family. Emily and James gave us a warm welcome and were very generous in assisting with making reservations at a nearby restaurant. After returning we had a nightcap in the small and cozy bar. The surrounding garden and woodland walk is also really beautiful. I can really recommend a stay at Mansewood country house!

Lovely little place in a beautiful area. The house is old and full of character. The hospitality is amazing and the food is excellent. Our room was cozy and clean. We loved the interior design of the room and public spaces. Highly recommended!

Don't hesitate to book Mansewood Country House! We had a fabulous stay. What a perfect location to explore the area and an easy drive from Glasgow airport. James is an exceptional chef - the best food we had during our stay was at Mansewood. Emily was kind enough to spend time advising us on her knowledge of the local area and beautiful walks. Thank you both, we can't wait to visit again

We had a fantastic stay at Mansewood last weekend. Despite arriving relatively late from Loch Tay, we were given a warm welcome and enjoyed a drink in the cosy little bar. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent - one of the best full Scottish I have had in a long while with excellent sausage and bacon and some lovely fresh sourdough. A stroll around the beautiful bluebells on the woodland walk was the perfect end to our stay. Thank you!

We stayed one night, the guest house is an amazing property in a great location with very friendly and accommodating hosts. They have suggestions on running routes and I would recommend having the dinner there, the home cooked food was restaurant quality.
Would recommend the cosy bar snug as well.
Overall great stay with only good things to say, will be returning!
